Travelling west usa: Need a GOOD online map
I need a map so i can print it and draw in the route i might be taking. Should be a big map, covering the west of the usa. Where can i find such a thing without ordering a complete map. Point me to it, and me and my gf will apreciate that very much (And: if you have some nice advise tips on where to go, hotels, and what we surely shouldnt miss, lemme know here!) |

				 | Google Maps or Google Earth will do that for you, you can print it out , figures distance of road segments, shows street/ highway names, tourist attractions and state/national parks, etc. best I know of. or you can try http://www.randmcnally.com/ they are pretty good too. |

				 | Just use the phonebook to any place you may be staying in and stop by AAA to get customized maps?

				 | Well yeah, but i have to plan the "route" long before. I will have to have a nicely detailed but not to detailed map, so i can pin the points i wanna see on it, and whenever the daily miles get way to much i need to be able to see where to stop at interesting points. Damn, that was a weird sentence. Im confusing myself now. |
