As some may know, I flew back home to visit my parents for the fourth. It was a good time.

While I was there I was talking with my mother about my sleep habits (or lack of) I have major insomnia and can be exausted, I will not sleep. My doc gave me pills for it. They knock me the fuck out, but I dont really enjoy that kind of sleep, Its almost like my body shuts down but my brain never stops. No real rest in that.

So my mom went out to bed bath and beyond and bought me one of these (she swears by it):

I brought it home and left it in the box until last night. I worked online until almost 6 am, went into my bedroom and saw the pillow on the dresser. I figured why not give it a try?

So I did. Seriously people, No sleeping pills, zero alcohol, my head hit that pillow and my ass was gone. 100% pure relaxing sleep. I didn't wake up once until I was waking up for good, and man I feel fucking great. I cant believe how good I feel.

Just wanted to share that with you. If you have sleep issues, try one of these.

They cost $20 - $40 depending on where you get it, worth every penny.

Something I will have to check out. If you really have sleeping problems try sleeping on a normal schedule and not drinking alcohol. Alcohol actually makes it harder to sleep. Sure you black out when you drink a bunch but all that sugar and shit in it will keep you from getting deep sleep. Also going to sleep at 6am is a recipe for insomnia.

just get rid of all the mirrors in your room! if i was you and had to look at myself every night in the mirror before bed i wouldnt sleep either.

I know where you are coming from but I have to differ. (not on the alcohol, but the bed "time")

normally if I go to bed sober and with no pills I will lay there for hours before sleep comes no matter how tider I was when I went to bed.

For years I ran a construction company with my friends, and you have no idea how many times I came home in the evening tired as hell only to lay there sleepless until my alarm went off and I was out the door again for another day. One time I didn't sleep for three days and I worked twelve hours each one of those days.

Unless I eat a Valume going to bed at a decent hour is pointless, I will just lay there.

Nope, the body of the pillow is filled with buckwheat husks, or hulls. Almost like a bean bag, just very comfey.

Hey, thanks for the tip, however I can sleep very very well and also waking up is no problem for me for years, my gf has issues and this can help her a lot. ;)

Its worth a try, man. When I first got it out and felt it I was not really understanding how it was going to help at all, but wow. I would pay to be able to sleep like that every night.

Does the pillow get hot? I have to flip my pillow over all night long to find a cold spot so I can go back to sleep.

I cant say that it does.

I know it sounds strange, its only a pillow. But I seriously just ordered 3 more of them, they are as close to perfect as i've ever had. I highly recommend this for those who have sleep issues.
