Anyone using 2257safe?

https://www.2257safe.com/

If so how do you like it?

Starting at $9.99 a month or something like that sounds like a pretty good deal.

And just to let everyone know, the $9.99 tier is ending July 31st. That was a launch special price for anyone that wanted to get on board early.

I cannot link to another board but here are two posts on other webmaster boards by current clients...

Quote:
I am new to the business, and wanted to comment on these two sites.

As a former attorney, I researched section 2257 extensively when I decided to produce adult content. It is a ponderous, burdensome law filled with hoops you must jump through and severe consequences for even technical violations. It is a tool that prosecutors can and do use to persecute those in the adult industry.

During my research I learned of 2257safe.com, and quickly decided to delay my first production until 2257safe.com was up and running.

I am now 2257safe.com's first subscriber, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. I have no financial interest in 2257safe.com. I am writing this because there are so many 2257 questions on these boards, and I believe 2257safe.com is an invaluable service that protects our freedoms.

For a very reasonable fee, you get to list 2257safe.com as your custodian of records. If an inspection occurs, it will occur at their offices. This means that:

(1) your name and address no longer need to be listed, and your home or office are not subject to an unannounced invasion by federal officials, and

(2) you don't have to maintain regular business hours.

If you value your privacy and security, or know anything about the plain-sight doctrine that allows law enforcement to use anything they see as evidence of any crimes, the first benefit alone is more than enough reason to use 2257safe.com.

There are other reasons to use 2257safe.com. First, it takes care of all of the ridiculous cross-referencing requirements in 2257 (i.e. cross-referencing models and their various stage names to all the videos and pictures they appear in, and vice-versa).

Second, beginning with the second tier of membership, 2257safe.com gives you full access to adultbizlaw.com (ABL). Among other things, ABL contains invaluable sample legal forms and 2257 information, case law, and articles. ABL also has video seminars.

I fully intend to eventually subscribe to ABL's premium membership, which includes one hour per month of attorney Michael Fattorosi's time that can rollover to future months if not used.

Having read much of Mr. Fattorosi's site and many of his articles, and being a former attorney, I can tell you that he has a firm and thorough understanding of 2257 and the law pertaining to the adult industry. His involvement with 2257safe.com makes me trust it all the more.
And ....

Quote:
As I mentioned yesterday in another thread, I signed up for 2257safe.com.

I was just playing around in my account and it is a great solution and so easy to figure out -- no reference manual needed.

Plus, there are some real stand-up people behind the organization.

Plans start at $9.99/mo. for 1 GIG of data storage. Their proprietary SAAS solution compresses everything so you end up getting a lot more bang for your buck.

The best part, for me at least, is that all of their customers can use 2257safe.com as their custodian or records.

This means that a customer does not have to divulge their home or work address -- or even their name, because 2257safe, LLC is the official custodian of records.

They have an office in LA that the authorities go to if they want to do an inspection.

Another great thing is that their people are well versed with inspections and handle the inspection process for you.

If you're like me and dabble in both mainstream and adult, these kinds of things may be important to you.

So there's my plug. I always like to tell people about good services I come across.
Please feel free to contact KB at [email protected], myself at [email protected] or Dan our programming wizard at [email protected] depending on your question...

You can link to other boards. That rule has been dumped so long as you're not another board owner spamming his board to steal members.

Thanks for the info.

Yeah look at the demo its pretty fucking sweet. You can also use their address on your 2257 statement.

I just wanted to see if anyone was using it yet and what they thought. Looks perfect for smaller guys.

The technology is sweet, and yes you use OUR legal law office as your address for inspection purposes.

It's perfect for anyone that doesn't need extra stress in their life- small or large US webmasters are welcome

:-))

I have been holding off on doing my small avs sites and blogs while watching all the changes with 2257. I plan on signing up for the small plan to start out and will do so this week.

I wanted to inquire about the compression that they speak of. So if you have the 1gb plan, how much can you actually upload?

We can achieve approx. 90% compression. So if you have 9-10 gigs of uncompressed content, you should be okay.

Awesome service. Definitely worth it for the peace of mind in knowing that you are completely legal, and you don't have to deal with the FBI directly.

Remember you are only as legal, as the records you keep.

What's even better is that those are REAL!

My partner found the posts and sent them to me and my partner Mike does not have accounts on those boards nor the time to post on them.

He is usually in court-
Trust me, I should know how hard it is to reach him on most days

Well there's really no way I can prove to you the veracity of the recommendations. Even if the two posters came on here and endorsed www.2257Safe.com you would still find a way to say we put them up to it.

All I can say is go see for yourself. We have FREE demo on the site. Play with the software. Take it for a test run.

Then if you really want to test us out sign up for the $9.99 option within the next 2 weeks and upload some content. If you dont like it cancel before the 30 days. It costs $9.99 to see if www.2257Safe.com will meet your needs.
