My approach as a parent has always been different, the promise was made in trade for her not getting a tattoo till she is 27, which is how old I was when she was born.

I don't mind tattoos too much, I have 2 of them myself... but I DO expect them to be old enough to understand they are permanent and make decisions accordingly. I can think of a lot worse things they could do so a tattoo is a very tame decision at their age to me. lol
