I LOVED that show when I was a kid, even though I was too little to understand all of the humor.....

They have a Carol Burnett DVD informercial now and it's bringing back the memories.....

She was absolutely awesome. Ahead of her time, fought for her own variety show when the network pressed her to do a sitcom. In our house when I was a kid, at least 4 or 5 of us would watch it every week without fail.
