Hi,

Maybe it's a difficult question to answer, but I really like to know what the sponsors thinks about that. Why sponsors doesn't do anthing against sites like Emporium, PureTNA, Pornorip ? They redistribute large quantities of porn content that comes from paying sites, to an extent that is beyond beleif. As an example, I saw all the movies of Nubiles.net being send on P2P, alphabetically...and I mean ALL OF THEM.

I cannot beleive it doesn't hurt every one, sponsors and webmasters alike.

It affects everyone, however it is growing at such a fast rate that sponsors and content owners feel overwhelmed.

Hard to chase these fuckers down from mom and dads basement.

That may...by there is only a couple of poeples running those sites.

If you can't fight them, join them...but I never seen a good P2P paying model. Even Usenext is so, so. I personnaly think we must remove the bigger ones out of the way.

We have some one full time thats all they do is find it and put an end to it. and still it happens..

Sadly the governments should put some $$ into getting those guys.

Why not make a deal with them instead ? Tell them you won't prosecute them if they keep the maximum file size on their P2P to 500MB (For one release). This way at least you won't get an asshole that release a 1GB to 4GB movie, or that strip the entire letter M from nubile.net with a 7GB release. Wouldn't that be more efficient ?

The are many sponsors who buy ads on trackers and there are a lot of webmasters who collect the traffic from crappy sources and sell it to brokers. It`s just a business and will not dissapear.

I think there is something to be done in this manner. You can even give them an exclusive money deal of some sort, if they oblige to this system. I don't perceive P2P as bad, but when you exchange entire porn movies...I prefer they exchange maybe part of a movie, just enouph so they ask where is the full movie.

In other words, why not making them part of the porn industry instead of being a nuisance.

That is nothing. On Newzxxx, they have newsgroup listings of entire sites listed. It makes one wonder why even bother promoting some of these sites with their content already out there. If only EVERY company started using Flash DRM could a major dent be made.

You see flmtube, all those files are 6GB and more. I know there is a lot going around P2P, the full site RIP are deadly. I don't think that flash DRM is a neat solution. They will start recording their desktop screen, simple has that. No, the heart of the problem are the owners of the P2P sites. You must put them on your side of the table and stop those enormous files to be swap that easily. By forcing them to fracture the size, at least you give yourself a chance.

But this isn't P2P. This is on the newsgroup which is undetectable of who downloads it and if the message header is stripped before uploading, undetectable of the uploader as well. For a mere $18/mo, someone could join usenetserver and download complete site rips, dvds, clips, etc... along with warez, music, and HD BLu Ray rips. If this was just a P2P or torrent thing, I would agree to an extent. But since no one owns the newsgroups, there is absolutely NO WAY to stop this practice. So why bother wasting promoting Reality Kings when any user can go download a terabyte of their content for $18 a month?

I see your point. The newsgroup are another thing...no doubt about it.

However, since they ask money for the service, it means there is a Cie beyond it. They pay taxes, must obide by the laws of their country. In my view, easier to negotiate with, then a guy in it's basement. I am just saying...rules are made to be changed, even the newsgroup. That might be utopic on my part, but you must start somewhere...If you don't, you will them do everything they want to do, at the detriment of your pockets.

There is no perfect solution, so, let's not try to find one. Rather find a compromise that will let everyone have their share of the cake.

Flash Media Rights Management Server costs $40k per CPU. On a nowadays server hardware that would be $80k per server. Do you think that it's remotely viable to do that?

We have two individuals in house, not counting our outsource staff. Some sites it's very easy, others it simply take a lot of work and effort.

The reality, as you mentioned each individual company has to dedicate staff, to getting content removed from these sites.

If I were someone like Reality Kings or Bang Brothers, absolutely. $40K now could save me potential millions in the future. For the smaller mom and pop shops, it may not be feasible but even doing something like Adobe did with their Adobe TV page (which is not DRM protected) prevents many users from ripping the stream and saving it to hard drive. And Adobe did that with the $995 streaming server package.

Totally ridiculous to have 1000 full titles in your paysite members area. Increase the quantity of a product and you will experience a drop in its price. No wonder they are used today to hand them out for free on tube sites.
