Now this does not prevent them from recording you video from a browser, but that is a pain in the butt to do, they would have to want it bad. If they were able to download the video from you they would not be able to play it.

I'm not going to let my secretes completely out of the bag, but if you can read between the lines you can I am sure figure this out for yourselves.

The other option is to NOT use an standard player but custom player that has access to running processes on the host machine that can detect ripping applications. MMO games use this method to stop cheaters. It is not easy to do, but it can be done.

Anyway that's my

Fuck lawyers, fuck the legal system. What have they done for porn lately even tho we HAVE to pay our fucking taxes!!! What we should do is get mid-evil on these bitches!! All band together, hire an A-Team like squad and send them to these fuckers houses!!! a few good beatings would do some good I bet. Go steal all there shit too, see how they fucking like it.

It kills people like me the most, I dont make tons of money off my content, I make my own stuff, and when my content ends up on tube sites (which it has many times) i really lose out. I dont have the money to pay for the pricey bulldog security to have a chance at my stuff not being stolen, i dont have a super smart webmaster either dont have a webmaster at that right now.

I dont see why you guys who have HUGE programs and bring in several million a year dont do something about this. Its not like you guys arent effected by it too. I have seen some new stuff from some major programs on tube sites, stuff that is as old as 1 week.

What would it take for people to band together and make a class action lawsuit against Brazzers and other LARGER tube sites? Not like we cant find out who they are and where they are hosting at. Hell even tho I am far form rich I would toss some of my money towards a class suit, if everyone else did the same maybe we could make a difference on our own!!!

As a lawyer who has dedicated his career to assisting clients in the adult industry, I can tell you definitively that *this lawyer* has done plenty for his clients when it comes to piracy. You just have to know a) the law and b) some VERY simple tech issues.

Banding together is a VERY good idea. What you really ought to do is have a "ripoff site of the week" that everyone checks for their content, and bombs the site's web host with DMCA notices on it. Then, everyone post the DMCA notices so that one of the bigger companies can use all of them as evidence against the web host for failing to cut off a repeat infringer.

The only strategy that will work is attacking the web hosts.

Go to whois.sc and check the registration information. Then click the tab that says "server stats." That will tell you who the web host is. Keep in mind that a well-trafficked tube site makes a web host about $10,000 (at least) per month in hosting fees (and many are upwards of $50,000 or more). So, you need to make it not worth their while to keep hosting the theft site. One person can't do that on their own.

But using it in conjunction with a lot of backend work is extremely effective.
If you have any video served by FMS, i would like to test it.

Tubes can still work in producers favour though. If a decent video is make of a hot chick getting seduced and just as its getting good stops, you will get sales.

The sales are being lost by the tubes giving away the whole video.

The compromise is that the tubes need to start limiting the full videos whether peacefully (They find an acceptable business model) or in a hostile manner (lawsuits and what not) and start giving limited access.

Don't get me started on pirated material, thats a real swine.

I think the guy that owns tube8 owns videobash, they seem to have a permanent advertising campaign on tube8 now that seems fishy. I talked to the owner of video bash one day and his English was broken up very poor. I think it's the same owner of the other tubes.

A solution to tube site copyright infringement

If you are looking to protect your video content this may interest you.

Our service, CopyMotion, has recently launched. It is automated adult video copyright protection based on our proprietary computer vision technology. Without watermarking, alterations or any extra effort on your part it will find and help you remove your content from tube sites.

We bring this technology to the table at a much lower price point than anything currently available.

As a DVD distributor I can say nearly every studio wants to get their stuff on DVD for at least incremental income so... protecting your streams won't help so much if people can just rip a dvd

like so

Of course, these sites violate the law, but look on the other hand, is a platform for increasing the ranking of sites, so this is a powerful tool for promotion.

Strange face about the majority of the largest tube sites in the world that are stealing your content... They are all primarily owned by one company, and that company funded the beloved StopFileLockers (AdultKing) movement which is found here on GFY.

Do you find it a bit hypocritical?

Nope. Adult King isn't "funded" by them. They donated to his cause.

I find it hypocritical for someone like you to try to attack a person who is the ONLY guy who has ever accomplished anything against piracy.

I'm putting you on "ignore" now because you are obviously not in this business.

Scrolldog/Richard Humphrey/To0 is a convicted pirate who did federal prison for piracy, he's also a convicted child sex offender amongst other things who recently did another stint in prison for parole violation - he'll be going back, it's just a matter of time.

Manwin/MindGeek provided some initial contributions to the project but withdrew that support last year. However that hasn't stopped us pursuing infringements on their properties. The people in our collaboration system are constantly dealing with infringements on tubes owned by many companies and we process them just like any other DMCA that goes to infringements@

Our concentration has been on file lockers because that's a big enough problem in itself, much more of a problem than tubes.

We currently have the following numbers of targets:

File Lockers: 737 sites
Tubes: 116 sites
Torrent Trackers: 409

The interesting thing about this is that if we remove torrents this is the breakdown chart taken directly from our back end systems:

Looking at that, it's not hard to see why Scrolldog is screaming blue murder. He is actively involved at WJunction which supports many file locker sites. He also associates with Rudy Corella of UltraMegaBit and Stephen Adami of the now failed OTEUpload.

Maybe that's one of the reasons they built their tube site... its no different from the other webmasters who owns a forum where you can upload private pics to. After a year they'll launch a new paysite depending on how much content they've already gotten from their subscribers :D
