I'm bored with Twitter - GoFuckYourself.com

I've had a twitter account for the last few months and I've updated it pretty regularly and gotten quite a good amount of followers. But I've gotten bored with it. The interaction is limited and you either get a bunch of teens goofing around or people trying to promote their businesses.
Anyone else feels the same way about twitter?

Eh... being bored with twitter is like being bored with your newsletter. It's a tool to get more traffic/sales, not something to have fun with.

been bored with social networks for years..

i believe Twitter can become interesting when you get into 20K+ followers

and tbh without any ultimate business / spam justification.. these networks are sheer vanity

have one profile nearing 5 figures.. plan to weave in mainstream 'green' product spam

if folk made more effort 'constructing' their tweets, twitter would be greaty enhanced imo

the character limit as a challenge not a hinderance.. unless you possess no intellect whatsoever

I haven't gotten much business from it; but that was not my ultimate goal. I was hoping to network with other designers, share ideas, etc., but so far nil ch.
