Religious people are perfect conduits for whatever bullshit you spill into them, because they are primed with FAITH in things that not only cant be proven, but which can easily be DISproved. Just for a little perspective the "In god we trust" wasn't put on our money till 1951 and that was during anti-communist fervor which associated atheism and godlessness with the reds. Also, the founding fathers were not religious to the point where you could almost consider them the atheists of their time and they certainly wouldn't be considered evangelical in any sense of the word. Hence, why the whole separation of church and state thing was so important.

Also, the founding fathers were not religious to the point where you could almost consider them the atheists of their time and they certainly wouldn't be considered evangelical in any sense of the word. This is a well known tactic to get your followers to dislike or hate an opponent. Paint your opponents leader as someone who has nothing but dumb followers, captivated by his glory. They'll believe they are liberating the confused followers you see? It'll be like a favor to his poor misguided followers if you trash obama.
