...and when I left the store I found a wallet in the parking lot. The wallet had two hundred and twenty-six dollars in it...credit cards etc. When I got home I looked in the phone book to see if the person was listed locally and she was. I called...got an answering machine...and left a message. A few minutes ago the lady came by the house and picked up her wallet. She did not even know that she had lost it before listening to my message.

I've dropped my wallet before and had it returned. I just handed the person whatever cash was in there (most $100) because the important things (license, debit cards, etc) were returned to me, could have gotten more cash but everything would have been a huge bitch without an ID or ATM card.

There are still some nice people in the world. I was at an ATM and thought it hadn't worked (the usual epass issues) so I was walking off slightly pissed when the lady behind me politely pointed out that my cash (about $USD250) was actually sitting in the dispenser.

Anyway, once happened to me that I was waiting at ATM and two girls with a small kid were doing something. Once they finished, I've stepped in and they told me: don't bother with it. They went away, and I saw someones card in ATM. They were trying to take money from it actually. Stupid enough to try without security code.
