doesnt really seem like there are very many good horror movies lately...when you think about the older ones like friday the 13th, the exorcist (classic), halloween (not the remake tho that wasnt bad) and even the orginal nightmare on elm street (this remake sucked), none of the newer horror movies even compare

Martyrs
Hostel
Saw
Frontiers
28 Weeks Later (I think it's one of the better Zombie movies in the past few years but of course not as good as the Zombie Movies from the 80s/90s by Fulci, Romero & Co.)

Going to watch "The Crazies" tonight (remake), hope it's a good one. The Original is quite good.

The 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead would be at or near the top of my list (of best horror movies of the 2000's)

2000's American Psycho deserves a mention.

The Grindhouse double feature including Death Proof and Planet Terror, absolutely loved these films. (Rose McGowan, yeah!)

2003's Wrong Turn was pretty good.

This new one coming out called "Splice" looks promising, at least by the trailer I saw a few days ago.

forgot about American Psycho. Wrong Turn and Dawn of the Dead remake as well.

Damn there have been some really good horror flicks in the last 10 years!

Splinter is one cool low budget horror film, fairly original creature.

I think that's the only time Ive ever walked out of a movie theater. I still want my money back for that movie.

The Saw movies I like are the first two, although I wouldnt put them in the horror genre. The rest of the series became boring quickly. Like Hostal.

I've got to agree with The Orphanage though. That was a scary movie.

There's a pretty long list of good horror movies, in my opinion, Zombieland does a great job at combining horror with humor.
