Are tube sites buying anymore content?

It seems like tube sites are going up everywhere and curious to know whether or not tube sites are still buying up content and what the market is for it.

The price they want to pay it isn't worth the hassle or the loss of business.

Tube sites are about the only sites buying content right now, they are paying less than $5 a full scene. Ive seen a few blowout sales for like $1 per video, unreal

if they understood the new economy they would be betting between $35-60 per 5 minute scene.

they just don't understand how much power of the new marketplace.

btw hit me choker, i have one of the training videos layed out, i just need to record it
i would like to get your pov on it before i release into the wild (since it targeted to your market not my normal one)

Speaking of marketplace, nobody is going to buy old, trash content for $35-60 per 5 minutes.. The best sales person in the world isn't selling it for that price when you can buy an entire DVD for less than $100 or an entire scene for $1.

The $35-$60+ range is newer and good content, and no reason to sell that to tubes when membership sites will pay $100's to $1000's per scene, per year and tubes won't touch that price range.

You're way out of your game here...

no one is paying "$1000s" for a non-exclusive scene and for sure not per year - but if you know one please let me know and i pay you a commission.

and tube sites don't buy exclusive content - yet

so you are comparing apples to oranges here

but some tubes seem to be willing to pay a pretty good price for non-exclusive content while good paying membership site clients become less and less - so there is definitely something shifting.

Exactly... his $35-60 per "5" minutes, is a shit load per scene/DVD.. He's either talking about exclusive, or he's even more in left field than I thought.

Tubes buy trash content at trash prices... no way anyone is selling content to them for that price, I couldn't agree more.

If you want clients, hit up every dvd/porn download site. They purchase high quality DVD's (not exclusive) from $100-$1000+ per, download rights of course - many renew yearly.

That's just sad... guess that really means the market place isn't picking up then.

three words "content as traffic"

sell content as traffic and it really easy to get those kinds of results.

the problem with that is, that many producers desperately need money. and i'd say that 80% of them don't care anymore how their business looks like in 3, 5 or 10 years - they need money by the end of the month to pay rent. and this destroys the biz for the rest of us. anyone who ever produced content knows, that $1 or even $5 is not an appropriate price for a scene. but still the desperation seems strong.

and btw - we still sell a HD boy/girl at $130 per scene and it gets bought - because it's not on every tube and every other website. and before i'd sell it for $1 i rather shoot myself.

I don't think you understand how the adult content market works when it comes to buying and selling content.

definitely less than i would sell it for $5 - but this is exactly my goal. i have to deal with less people and people get content that is almost like exclusive for a fraction of the price.

yes

the price point is based on test in the music industry but the principle is industry agnostic

infact what i am talking about actually works better in adult because there is already a valid established substitution to compete against.
