Pissed Off Flight Attendant Drops F-Bomb Then Exits Down Emergency Slide - GoFuckYourself.com

"To the passenger who called me a m---f--er, f--- you," flight attendant Steven Slater ranted over the intercom, passengers said.

"I've been in the business 28 years. I've had it. That's it."

After activating the emergency exit and sliding down to the tarmac, Slater returned to pick up his bag and rode the AirTrain to his car parked the the JetBlue lot, cops said.

Slater stripped off his company tie and flung it off the train as bemused passengers watched at the Terminal Five stop.

Port Authority police arrested Slater at his home in nearby Belle Harbor, Queens. Charges were pending.

Just before his dramatic resignation, Slater had argued with a passenger who was trying to retrieve a bag from an overhead compartment before the plane was stopped.

Talking about going out in a blaze of glory...

Although honestly, I don't think I could stand being a flight attendant. I would probably get claustrophobic working in such a confined space like that, and having to deal with all kinds of crying babies, cranky drunks, wacko nutjobs and angry assholes, can't be all that fun...

I guess it really pissed him off to have a passenger actually match his fucking rudeness.

Please, I avoid fight personnel because I've seen then be total jackasses to passengers
that don't avoid them.

Airports are one place where there simply isn't enough firing of employees.
My cab rides are more enjoyable than an airline flight.

The manner in which he quit his job is the same manner in which he worked it.

I've flown on a Jet Blue flight with that guy before.

He looks just like my buddy who is also a Jet Blue flight attendant, and I mistook him for my friend.

Opening up the emergency latch thing would have gotten him busted. I guess it's ridiculously expensive to have the slide go, let alone for no emergency reason.

yup I wouldn't be surprised if there were federal charges brought in this matter.. pre 9/11 this would've not been this big of a deal and the guy would be on letterman the next night but as funny as it is this guy will be in a lot of trouble I think

Good for him I hope he get's off easy. Too many fucking laws these days that over penalize people for small things and not enough laws for the big things like uh, attacking a country that did not attack us, or stealing oil or spilling it all over the place.

It's something anyone in the service industry wants to do at some point. Thankfully this guy worked on a plane and didn't have a gun with him, otherwise it would have ended much worse!
