the problem is that many people on this board will believe the mainstream media and official govt line on just about anything as long as it suits their belief system.

sadly that belief system consists of the antiquated outlook that "the sky is blue and the earth is green. the world is black and white. i believe everything everyone else believes."

many people are afraid of radical concepts because they need to have safety in numbers. when a divergent concept emerges they immediately reject it as false, impossible, stupid etc.

the media and powers that be realize this and plant ridiculous claims and theories in the news from some "wingnut" which makes the case for any conspiracy seem ridiculous, so the knee jerk reaction is always "you gotta be retarded to believe that nonsense, those conspiracy whack jobs are just crazy."

in this case you have some guy with video footage of a "ball" apparently flying into one of the towers, and there was no second plane. okay, common sense and eye witness accounts (possibly including your own) will tell you that in instead of the planes being added to these videos, the "ball" was added to the video to perpetuate another hoax.

this is a successful ploy to confirm in people's minds that ANY conspiracy surrounding 9/11 is ludicrous, so people laugh it off and go back to their daily banal routines.

You have to take into account that there are dozens, if not hundreds of organizations that would benefit by spreading doubt and misinformation in regards to Sept. 11th. Things might not add up, but it doesn't necessarily mean what you think it does.

I will tell you this though, eyewitness accounts are not as reliable as you think, I have a psych degree and we did a lot of study on that, people's memories can be influenced by suggestive language and other things after the events, in one study i think it was 1/3 of people were convinced to believe they were abused as a child even though they were not. I cant remember all the studies now, but keep in mind eyewitness accounts are not as reliable as you might think.

So it really makes sense to you that the massive amounts of explosives needed were somehow hidden in the building, attached perfectly to the supporting structure and worked flawlessly even after the building was hit by an airplane? All of this, a job that would take literally months and months to do in the open assuming you were not hiding the explosives, was done without anybody noticing and by a team of people that have kept absolutely silent on the matter. That really makes sense to you?

I have no idea how long it would take something like that to setup... it just looks like a demolition to me... then I watch videos where apparent 'experts', bystanders, and interviewers alike, all support the notion that the buildings were demolished.

Then they report that security was removed/etc/etc. That's besides the architects saying the building was made to be able to withstand a plane collision / etc. Not to mention shit attached to the bottom of the plane and the unexplainable damage to the pentagon and lack of debris/damage at the Pennsylvania crash site... just saying... if all of that is a load of fucking crap then just link me the vid or report that discredits it... To me - that much is common sense. If I'm that much of a fucking idiot then just take 5 minutes to show me why it isn't common sense.

chronig Registered User Industry Role: Join Date: Oct 2009 Posts: 2,653	- 2 Planes hit the towers - The towers most definitely had explosives in them - The planes may or may not have had passengers in them / may or may not have been commercial planes - Seems like there was something attached to both planes - A plane, or at least not the commercial plane referenced, did NOT hit the Pentagon - No plane crash landed in Pennsylvania - Simply could not have been the plan of Al-Qaeda / Osama Bin Laden - I feel sorry for Americans but the truth is the truth, and as an American I could imagine it would be hard to stomach/accept.
