Sponsors are going out of biz, screwing webmasters and all and up to the last day it all seems like the usual biz. Nothing wrong, they are doing their shit, you are doing yours. Then next day they close up shop and give you the finger.

Then come other sponsors claiming that the traffic can be routed to them, that (pay attention, it gets really silly here) "they are not going anywhere". Well listen to me, you fucking sound just like the sponsor that just bit the dust. They weren't going anywhere just the day before.

You look and sound no better than the one that just fucked us over.

So why should I come to promote you?

Anything you say won't cut it. There can't possibly be anything you can say to convince us you are not going down the toilet tomorrow. Anything.

Simply put, people are THAT desperate for business. "Oh you got fucked? Sorry...hey promote us/buy my shit! You know you can trust us because we said sorry that you just got fucked by someone else - we're so nice and caring about our affiliates/customers!" Threadjacking of the worst kind. It's not enough for them to just make a relevant comment and have their links in their sig.

I'm of the opinion that more and more people in general are doing business the wrong way these days. They are focusing on befriending their customers/clients, acting compassionate about their needs, etc. while offering complete shit vs. working on actually providing value to their customers/clients and providing actual evidence of that to potential customers/clients and letting that speak for itself. It's like it's a more important skill today to be able to sell people on worthless shit than to be able to actually create something valuable to sell. It's evidenced by things like the significant percentage of people on Twitter that are "social media experts" spewing spam all day. They're experts because they SAY they are, damnit! Forget that it's perfectly evidenced by what they're DOING that they AREN'T experts!

So yea, I'm convinced that someone spamming their program in a "XYZ program isn't paying" thread probably has a really shitty program.
