directfiesta: what can Michael do in this case? You would've had access to support/server and you are not dependent on office hours, VISA hours, bank hours and so on...

We all should chill for awhile... too much noise and trolling doesn't help at all!

what if he can't (business secret), or genuinely doesn't know?

marketsmart 09-12-2010 11:21 AM

Every great magic trick consists of three parts or acts.

The first part is called "The Pledge". The magician shows you something ordinary: a deck of cards, a bird or a man. He shows you this object. Perhaps he asks you to inspect it to see if it is indeed real, unaltered, normal. But of course... it probably isn't.

The second act is called "The Turn". The magician takes the ordinary something and makes it do something extraordinary. Now you're looking for the secret... but you won't find it, because of course you're not really looking. You don't really want to know. You want to be fooled. But you wouldn't clap yet. Because making something disappear isn't enough; you have to bring it back.

That's why every magic trick has a third act, the hardest part, the part we call "The Prestige

He should go back to Chris and say: "Chris.. dude.. both you and I know that by not releasing any important information whatsoever for more than a week after it happened is only going to create hostility, distrust, and resentment. The natives are beyond the point of being 'restless'. PLEASE give me something legit to tell them.. like exactly why this occurred, and your step-by-step action plan to resolve the issue. Don't be a douche Chris...."

That is what Michael can do. I mean how difficult can it be to just say what is really going on? Over a week later, and Chris is still being hush-hush and the specific issues that caused this are never released by him to epassporte account holders? He can't even say what he is doing right now?

As far as the last non-informative "statement", I would have had more respect for a statement like "Fuck, I don't know what happened, can't figure out how to fix it, so I am drunk as fuck right now as I type this while taking a huge prairie dogging shit on the toilet"...

freedmann 09-12-2010 01:13 PM

seems that money still is in motion...

where is my fucking wire ?

Cutter: Now you're looking for the secret. But you won't find it because of course, you're not really looking. You don't really want to work it out. You want to be fooled.

We at ePassporte are as distressed as you, our valued cardholders, over an action that we did not see coming and as of today we still have received no good basis for it.

It has been 10 days and nobody knows what the problem was????

It's completely evident someone is covering up and playing dirty.

If by the end of week ePassporte cannot advise

1/ What caused the payment failure
2/ When will VISA funds be available

Then I don't think it's worthwhile talking to ePassporte at all.

indeed i agree, this is starting to get ridiculous i had faith but ive lost most of it...

I only had a few hundred in there to lose but its not that so much its more what will i use as an alternative..? Cheques are annoying but i suppose them, however because im not in the US, there will be a 3-4 week delay which means im pretty fucked money wise in the meantime :(

Unless you get checks made out in AU$ you're looking at 2 weeks mail plus 6 weeks to clear.

Bankwire takes 24 hours usually. Aus banks call it telegraphic transfer.

sebaland3 09-12-2010 07:49 PM

Seems that Michael Olsen stop giving support by epassporte email system? I have sent him a message few days ago without any response and other one today.

Somebody are getting any response from him?

Well the telegraphic transfer option isnt great, its usually like 20-50 USD and considering i promote a lot of programmes and btw my income isnt huge, not really worth it. You know a lot about Australian banking!

Ill just have to wait for the cheques :(

But thanks for the info :)

Hansm 09-12-2010 09:34 PM

Did anybody get a reply through the regular support system?
I sent a message days ago and did not get a reply, yet.
Have they shut everything down already?

Half a year or so ago I sent them a message through their support system and never got any replies. My issue was fixed though.

Another withdrawal to personal Visa debit card received today, so withdrawals from account are still working.
