I belive the story goes that he was screwed for $4500 due to account security being compromised somehow and Epass refused to repay him or make it right. They basically told him "too bad, we don't have reversal charges, you lose" or along these lines.

So in a way he's worse off than all the VV holders which are held hostage. Because they at least have a chance of getting their money back. DEA is in fact permanently screwed and definitely lost his $4500.

On the other hand, that was a bit back, so he should have come to his senses by now and realized that the money are gone and it's time to make sme new ones instead, because the old ones are never coming back.

I may be wrong in details, but basically that's the story as far as my understanding goes.

like Adraco said. it sucks for dea because he lost money due to his own stupidity since someone got his pass or smth and ssecond - he wont get back anything even if we get everything..so his ship is going down in any case and he would just love to takes us all with him,.
