If you have your own merchant account and don't want to go to the ATM every single day to empty out your epassporte balance, simply charge your epassporte (virtual) visa to avoid the $3 withdrawal fee, the $320 withdrawal limit and endless times driving to the ATM

I dont think this will work. I used to do this with my card, but would ONLY work with the virtual visa, not the card #. I don't have the virtual visa number anymore so I'm not sure it will work.

If you have your own merchant account you can just make a callcenter transaction charging your own card, visa will then payout to your bank account.

We pay around 2% on visa, still beats going to the atm every single day, besides that you dont have the $3 withdrawal fee nor the withdrawal limit :-)

But if you don't have your own merchant account you can also load your moniker account with extra funds for example

Yes it only works with the virtual visa, the card is for ATM transactions or POS transactions only.

How do we see our VV number since epass's site is closed now? I have my electron card, but I always glanced at my epass account when I needed to reference me VV card number.

Oh he'll no, trust me, you will be flagged and your merchant account put on hold. Same rule for visa, mc, Amex. Had a legit, small, honest transaction between two companies once and Amex flipped out. Trust me, their systems link and the regulations extend to not taking cards from family members as well. :2cents

It's actually against merchant TOS to charge your own personal credit card or company cards. Brad is correct, your merchant account can be negatively effected by this. Not recommend

You are correct. Google Checkout, Paypal and other processors will not allow you to make a payment from yourself to yourself. If the name on the card is mentioned anywhere in the account profile of the merchant account, the transaction will be declined.

You will still have to pay your visa fee yes, but it beats going to the atm every day as well as conversion rates and a withdrawal fee ;)

Mmm I had no problems in the past, I did it before where I charged my virtual visa number and it worked fine.

I got a First Data virtual terminal and I can use Transcation Origin "face to face" as POS and the fee is very low for example...

Well in my case it is as follows:

- I am currently in Amsterdam so i get a fucked up exchange rate as I get EUR instead of USD, i have a multi currency merchant account so can charge USD
- The withdrawal limit is $320, as far as i know now the limit on transactions is $1000 or higher
-I dont have the $3 withdrawal fee, not really worth mentioning though
- Most of all, i dont need to go to the atm every single day

I don't mind paying 2% as it will be more or less the same as the fees by withdrawals but mostly i save time :-)

As brad and kacy reported, it might be a good idea to check the tos of your merchant agreement, in my case it does not apply so i am good to go

Not a good idea, if you always do for example 39.95 transactions and suddenly do much higher transactions and all from the same card number the bank will flag your account for sure.
