Did Neil Armstrong really land on the moon?
Or was it some drunk Russian?

Aluminum Foil Beanie people think it was not. In the meantime, enjoy this video: |
i doubt it somehow ... too many extra sharp pics from "there" ... and haircrosses BEHIND the photographed objects ... FAIL :P

My friends are writing a screenplay about Stanley Kubrick and the rumor that he directed the fake moon landing.
There is some interesting info to support the theory, but the movie will be entirely fictional. |
My space teacher told me that its not true, really he did...

i think they got up there and hadnt realized their film would be exposed the second they got out of the capsule. so all the footage they got outside the capsule was lost. just my opinion...well and the maker of the cameras they used, he himself says it was just the standard camera..painted grey |

Hmmm you think we figured out how to send humans beings through the van allen radiation belt unharmed, through temperature extremes ranging from almost absolute zero to fri the whole capsule to a crisp if you come in at the wrong angle. We figured out how to not bounce off the earths atmosphere, we figured out how tol slingshot around the moon using gravity to conserve fuel, we over came over a million technical difficulties to get men to the moon and back alive and we didn't know the film had to be in radiation proof containers. Good God people....you do realize how totally IGNORANT that is right? |

Check out the Mythbusters episode on this topic. It's an interesting topic because there ARE a few things that seem really odd. However, when you look into it with a truly open mind none of the conspiracy theory ideas hold up. Often, simply seeing another picture of the same object from a different angle makes it clear.
For example, several of the claims are based on the idea that "since the sun is the only light source on the moon, anything in a shadow should be completely black". That makes sense until you look at the moon in the sky. Looking at the moon, you see it's quite bright. If you go out in the country at night, moonlight is enough to see a liitle bit. If the light from the moon's surface can light up stuff here, 250,000 miles away, it's certainly enough to soften shadows just a few feet from the surface. Also try this. Put on a white T shirt, the same color as the astronauts suits. Take a bright flashlight into a dark room and point it toward your shirt. It will light up the whole room. Similarly, sunlight reflected off of the astronauts suits threw some light on the things around them. So the sun it's NOT the only light source on the moon, and you can see that just by looking up at the moon and seeing how bright the whole surface is. Each claim by the conspiracy theorists can be debunked quite simply. Until you see these things, though, it is quite fascinating to read the claims and look at their "evidence". It's almost disappointing to debunk the claims just by looking up and saying "damn, the whole friggin surface of tge moon is shining brightly". |
I would guess no, but it will never be proved either way.
It is silly to think the government wouldn't fake it. Of course they would. But they would also rather do it in real. It's all just a pissing contest so who cares! |

This is my favorite thread topic ever! lol
I know a guy who works for NASA, even he says it was fake. so duh. |

maybe the maker of the camera was wrong..maybe he is lying but it stands that he says he did nothing special to the camera...they just mounted it on the spacesuits and went outside with them we figured out a lot of stuff....penicillin was an accident |
I'm pretty certain they went to the moon. None of the so-called evidence that conspiracy theorists have really holds up when thoroughly inspected and analyzed.
|
no one has been 2 the moon

More people to add to the gfy nutcase conspiracy list.

Here's the question that bothers me most about the 'production' claims...
If it was all done in a studio, a complete hoax, a huge cover up why would they even bother claiming to go back? wouldn't that be more chance at leaks? wouldn't the public start getting more skeptical? Wouldn't a 'rogue employee' spill the beans at some point in the years of going there? Of course that would happen... but it didn't. The evidence proving they went there far outweighs any of the claims that it is all fake. I'll admit it makes for an interesting story, but it just ends right there... |

im talking about film being ruined from radiation not whether or not anyone went to the moon there is a big difference if you knew how to read, you would know that |
quickk question, was just the 1st lunar landing faked? or were all 6 lunar landings over several years faked?

i think they went to the moon just the first time...they fucked up and forgot to enclose the film in radiation proof material thus...the 2km stage in arizona stanely kubrick conspiracy etc |

I'm thinking I actually watched Neill Armstrong step on the moon live on TV. I remember my family sitting around the TV and watching it.
If Kubrick staged a moon landing to " replace " a damaged original due to radiation, how did he know to do it before the actual live event and what exactly was my family and I watching on tv that day? |
We live in a cynical society that loves to disbelieve anything
