Hello all,

I'm new here and I'm posting this sales thread exclusively at GFY. I hope my post follows all forum rules as I believe it does after checking around.

I'm seeking offers on an adult WordPress plugin business I've had for the past 3 years. It is extremely profitable but I'm getting more and more busy with other projects that are not in the adult industry. Plus, I'm not allowed to list it on Flippa.

The plugin is a video scraper that automatically imports videos from popular adult tube sites around the web. It requires minor code fixes usually every few months or so.

I've experimented with various prices and all have performed well. Right now its priced at $33 for the plugin with upsell products of $33 license removal and $33 installation service.

Last year it also sold well at $99 with free installation included. A video tube template was previously bundled with the product, but is now offered free of charge to entice buyers to purchase the plugin.

I'm hoping there are some serious users on GFY who would be interested to discuss a deal with me on the business.

Everything offered:

- WordPress video scraper plugin (all archived versions, code, and advice)
- full assistance transferring the update system over to your server (simple setup)
- WordPress video tube template (all code, and advice)
- former domains used to sell the product (now 301 redirected)
- former bittorrent website domains used to bring in newbie webmaster traffic
- high traffic and well-branded demo website
- I will also 301 the appropriate URL on my website to your homepage for 1 year
- tons of backlinks and referrals from around the internet (past 3 years)
- I will introduce you to the programmer currently providing fixes, if he approves

Monetization methods:

- include your own affiliate codes/ads in the free video tube template that is distributed
- price of plugin
- price of installation
- price of license removal on the free template
- earn referral cash on the videos that are embedded to your customers websites
- earn traffic from your customers websites if you embed your own videos to the plugin
- plus, extra cash earned from ads/affiliates on the high traffic demo website

I'm looking for decent purchase offers on this business.

It is easily making $300-500 minimum each month from the plugin sales alone, not counting all affiliate income which varies greatly each month. Income has easily capped $1,000/mo from this business many times in the past few years.

So, if I can't generate decent offers then I probably will keep this business around a while longer, though I'd like to sell it off to focus on other things frankly.

1. Welcome to GFY. I'm sure we are all honored that you choose to sell this exclusively at this forum you just found.
2. Please post a screenshot where we can see the number of disputes you have gotten.
3. Please post a URL where we can see the solution
4. Please post some traffic numbers for your website / total number of sold plugins etc.

Apologies for the delay. I didn't realize there was no PM system here.

In response here you go:

- I'd estimate less than 10% of sales are disputed on PayPal and exactly zero have resulted in a refund or chargeback... I've developed a pretty good customer service approach to minimize this, and PayPal has worked nicely with us to protect us from scammers trying to steal the software (plus, they disallow refunds on digital goods in most cases)

- Total number of sold plugins, honestly no idea over the past 3 years as I've changed PayPal accounts a few times and spend little time accounting... that being said I would estimate approximately 10-20 sales per month for past few years, with occasional spikes around 30 sales per month in rare instances

Sorry but I would only be able to accept Escrow.com bank transfer for this type of sale.

I forgot to mention another revenue stream for this business: the HostGator affiliate program. Most of the newbie webmasters interested in setting up a new tube site don't have hosting yet so I also make cash each month from referring them to HostGator.

And to clarify the money earned from AdultFriendFinder is not normal affiliate money it is broker money so you earn lifetime percentage off all the new webmasters building up their traffic.

I would consider accepting verified PayPal on a case-by-case basis for the deal.

And no, sales are not slowing down. If anything, they are growing again if measured against the earliest part of 2012.

The price of the plugin was bumped up to $66 each again, and sales are staying strong.

Your full of shit, buyers can always scam on digital goods, because there's no proof of the sale. I've been scammed this way for over $2000 dollars because they don't cover digital sales.

...then you have no idea what you're doing.

If you block non-Verified US billing addresses and make sure you label your products as software, you will win 99% of all complaints by simply forcing them to be upgraded to claims and explaining to PayPal that its intangible goods in the description section of the claim.

As long as your account is in good standing with them, they nearly always support you.
