Advice for promotion of an 'arty' site?
Hi there
I have a site (I know, so does everyone) I'm trying to get up and running but I'm not sure how to promote it. As I'm a new user i can't post the link but the idea is to collect the best scenes from 'artcore' sites like X-art, Nubiles, Joymii etc, post a few pics for each video with a semi-witty blurb and link through to the sites for more. The problem is I'm new to SEO let alone porn SEO and haven't really got the first idea how to promote it. Any and all suggestions welcome, thanks for your time folks. Eric (: |

If you're working to gain search ranking then social media will play a crucial role in your campaign along with building some high quality backlinks is also important.

Thanks for the suggestions, I hadn't heard of surfsites before but I'll check it out. Like a true newbie I hadn't realised I can put my site in the signature here, so if anyone would like to follow it and tell me what they think of the site itself I'd be most grateful.
Cheers, Eric (: |

you worked a link to democracynow into a porn review? so fucking cool. your site is really well done, gorgeous pics and I love your writing style.
I'd suggest putting target=_blank into your non-porn links (I hate it when I click a link and I lose the source site in my browser) but that may just be a personal preference.

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. If porn can't be used to push progressive news sources on an unsuspecting public what use is it? (:
I'll edit the 'target=_blank' thing into links too, hadn't thought of that. Cheers! Any other thoughts / criticisms from folks here? |

I quite like it, I am in the same niche and a clean simple design just fits with the niche. I like your writing style too.

Thanks - would you like to share your site? I'm always curious what other folks in the same market are up to.
