![]() So I am assuming when I purchase content from someone say off of this forum or a big reseller site that makes me a secondary producer according to:
"A secondary producer is defined as any person who produces assembles, manufactures, publishes, duplicates reproduces, or reissues the created image(s)." "A secondary producer may satisfy the requirements of this section by accepting a copy of the records from the primary producer. See, §75.2(b). However, if the secondary producer accepts the primary producer?s records, the secondary producer must also keep the name and address of the primary producer in the record. See, §75.2(b)." -rjg.com/section2257recor.html My concern is that I have never been given the primary producer's name and address when I have made small test purchases so far. To me the language of 2257 reads that I need to have this in order to resell the content on a clipstore or on my own site. Am I going about this wrong or should I be getting that information from content resellers? Thanks GFY! |
