I am trying to find a designer for my site and none of them seem to build in a back-end management system. How do you guys manage the content on your sites?

we made our own system, because all the stuff out there now either requires you to install the cms software for each domain/website you want to do, those that are there for porn only focus on one aspect, (tube, basic management, etc).

the system we made can handle unlimited websites/domains, is custom tuned for anything we want it to do, and is completely secured from any of the websites it handles (unlike just about all the other cms's out there which put the admin in a /admin like folder, which any numbnutz can figure out how to crack in to). As well since we have a rather large set of servers, we built in server management software into the cms to monitor over and handle issues for all our servers which can grow/shrink as needed.

There's alot of really good cms's out there, but again depending on what you're looking to accomplish none of them handle it all at the same time, so we opted to make something that we'd never have to look for something else to do.

Oh not to mention most of the stuff out there is made in europe and is damn near impossible to get help for when you need it in any timely manner.

Do you guys design this system for other companies or was this just an internal thing?

the system itself i built before coming to the company, but never really used it for much, coming from the telecom world. but once here it fit nicely, and since then i've used it for many other clients porn and mainstream alike.(minus internal plugins and things built just for the group), hit me up a pm with your hosting details maybe it might fit you also.

Designers don't deal with back-end CMS work. Programmers are the ones that build CMS systems. Or you can use one of the off the shelf ones.

You don't look for a designer to do a programmers work... try to find a php guy to build your custom cms for you. Its a lot cheaper than buying cms' with lousy support.
