Its simple - all payments in the virtual visa area (atm/withdrawl cards) are locked. If your receiving new payments make sure to select the option (in wallet settings) to receive all payments to your wallet and not your virtual visa so you can request a wire payout in the meantime. Contact all affiliate programs and payout partners and have them temporarily pay you via check/deposit or wire until Michael and the crew at epassporte get things fixed - from my understanding of issued visa cards, your old cards will not work when they acquire a new bank/contract - it will take time to fix regardless. For all partners of www.nichepartners.com - we have temporarily paused payments via epassporte and will hold things until you email us to advise of a new payment method. A notice has been posted on our site and live support is open for inquiries.

I've never been a mallick fan but have to say Michael has always helped out and made sure my business with epassporte was smooth. Hearing from him tonight has made this news much easier to take. Thx Michael

It's likely that visa will never work with epassporte anymore. The only thing we should hope for - is that they can replace it with MasterCard or Discover within 1 month.

The problem that might happen is that even if the everything goes back to normal the people will still be "afraid" about the future so we might see many people withdrawing money through their credit cards once they start working again.

That is why I think that if things get resolved that epassporte should go to great lengths to ensure and calm down the epass owners that the things are really ok in the long term. Persuading people and business to stay with epass or at least not withdraw money in masses even if the things get back to normal will be the most difficult I think.

But so far they are doing ok - so thanks to Michael for not keeping us in the dark so far and please keep updating us..

To be honest that was the whole point of the wallet and epass recommended most funds be kept in there. The virtual visa account was for funds you might need to withdraw soon...the whole idea was so someone couldn't drain your account through the ATM or swipe.

My guess is either, everyone is simply getting fucked out of their money, or charges have been filed, which included an immediate C&D to the bank / VISA. Or the unlikely, and it's a really piss poor business decision on ePass's part not to give everyone a heads-up. I can't see VISA suddenly pulling the plug without being forced by law to do so.

If #1 -- They're not going to be looking for a new banking relationship.

If #2 -- I doubt Mastercard is going to say, "Ohhh, you're under investigation by the DOJ with pending charges? No problem, let's get you setup with an account!"

I only get paid by a couple of sponsors though epass, and only use epass to pay for services that people need epass payments for, gallery designs, submit passes, ect.... Unfortunately I was letting funds just build up all year pretty much.

I would hate to lose the funds. What a bummer, and a bad time to "save" up my money for a rainy day. Guess my paid submit spots will have to wait.

After 15 years in this biz, I have never seen one company that lost there visa or mastercard ever pay webmasters. Best thing to do, is screen shot your loss and when tax time comes take it as a loss. I just had a sponsor pay me a pretty decent payment I just got it this morning and when I went to pay for dinner tonight and my card was declined, I was like oh well another done went south.

The money won't transfer unless you have it set to go to your wallet and you still have the ability to get money out of that via a bank transfer, so it wouldn't be the end of the world. I think the ones that might be completely fucked (the people with funds in their Virtual Visa) are already in the shitter.

You dont just have your massive visa account closed and have absolutely no clue what is going on. That is a truckload of bullshit right there.

Something is seriously fucked up here and each and everyone of us has lost every cent we have in epassporte.

Everything incoming goes right into the Virtual Visa account. Obviously can't have that. How about allowing incoming funds to go directly into the Wallet? I suppose it doesnt work like that. Or does it?
