Around $3.39 USD here in Kansas but I don't have car payments, so I am relatively unaffected by the price of gas. I pay cash for my cars.

That makes no sense at all. Regardless if you paid cash for your car or financing; you still have to pay for gas, no? Economically maybe you have more disposable income since you don't have a car payment, but that doesn't affect the effect of gas prices on you. :2 cents:

It's $3.89 here and climbing by $.10 a day. It jumped $.30 in one day, but I paid cash for my moped so it relatively didn't affect me at all. I'm not bragging, I'm just saying.

bizz 03-02-2011 11:54 PM

$0.90 per liter

What the feck has that got to do with the price of eggs?

TangibleAsset 03-03-2011 12:57 AM

I think he means because he doesn't have any other bills he doesn't care how much gas costs. Kind of an odd justification but I think that was his point.

$3.89 in San Luis Obispo, CA.

strobi 03-03-2011 01:51 AM

2.28$/liter
8.35$/gallon

:-(

k0nr4d 03-03-2011 01:53 AM

theloller 03-03-2011 01:54 AM

here it's around 1.5 euro/liters
and "here" is in italy, a shitty place.

Nathan 03-03-2011 02:34 AM

around $2 per liter in germany. But that is for 98 Octane, something you can hardly get in the US.
It's around $2.20 per liter for Premium 100+ Octane (which is impossible to get in the states as far as I know)

Roughly $1.85 per liter for 95 Octane... and maybe $1.75 for 91 octane if you can still find it, thats the lowest available....

Usually as far as I remmber, premium+ in the US is 95? Regular is 89 or so... my car's claim they want at least 95 <G> ... My SLS says you should use 98 octane...

Herb Kornfield 03-03-2011 06:00 AM

$3.89/Gallon in PA.
$3.39/Gallon in New Jersey ( across the Bridge from PA )

- $4.00 to cross the bridge from PA to NJ
- Truck has a 22 gallon tank
- 10 minute drive ( if that across bridge to gas station from PA to NJ and back home )
- Savings ( after $4.00 toll to fill up ) $4.80 USD.

Do that 3 times a week ... you save $14.40 USD. Not a lot, but every penny counts.

Also side benefit - in NJ the booze is far cheaper than in PA, so make it a beer / liquor run as well ..Bring a friend (as I do alot ) and have them pay the toll, hit the beer stand, get a tank of gas ;)

notime 03-03-2011 06:06 AM

Euro 1,75 per liter in Holland

emmanuelle 03-03-2011 06:55 AM

About $80 to fill my tank

the Shemp 03-03-2011 06:57 AM

This right there, shows that in the end, gas consumption in USD is the same all over, completely disregarding the price of it...

_3_ times a week you fill up your tank?! My SLS does not even eat gas that fast, and I drive it all the time...

Sid70 03-03-2011 07:26 AM

$1.20 per liter.
