Death By Lethal Injection For Dzhokhar Tsarnaev

Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev (joh-HAHR' tsahr-NEYE'-ehv) has shown no reaction as a jury sentenced him to the death penalty for the 2013 terror attack.

His head was down slightly and his hands were folded in front of him as the death sentence was handed down Friday.

The defense asked that the jury be polled, and each confirmed that the verdict represented his or her decision.

The sentence came down exactly 25 months after the April 15, 2013, bombings.

Dah welp!

Barry-xlovecam 05-15-2015 12:59 PM

Good -- sends a message. However, I suppose he new he would be killed for his crimes.

pornguy 05-15-2015 01:14 PM

I would not have granted him his marter's death. I would have let him rot in prison where I was sure every inmate knew what he did how he did it and who he did it to. Could have been their family members hurt.

20 years of appeals later, we're looking at 2035.

So he gets his time served wanting for his end to come as he gets passed around in the general population as ''bitch boi'' ... I am OK with that :thumbsup

loreen 05-15-2015 01:24 PM

I am sorry to hear that. He was a kid influenced by his relatives / brother...

Barbaric, in my opinion.

I agree. This will take twenty years of appeals and millions of dollars wasted. We should just have slammed him in a cell and let him know what it's like to have a hard stiff cock up in his asshole every day of his life. At least it would make showering more exciting.

They could just 'lose' the appeal paperwork...smoke his ass...call it a clerical/administrative oversight.

mikesouth 05-15-2015 01:36 PM

I expect he will die in prison long before the feds execute him....

FUCK HIM :321GFY

Everyone is "influenced" by something...religion in this case (as is so often the case with violence).

He's not 12 he is an adult and as such the lame excuse of being influenced by his big brother is beyond meaningless...it is downright PATHETIC!

loreen 05-15-2015 02:04 PM

I'm not saying he's 'excused' in any way. No, he should pay for what he did and what he did was beyond horrible.

But he always struck me as... a shadow of his brother's actions. I followed the news in 2013, hour by hour.

And I find death penalty barbaric in every situation. Could be a cultural thing, though :)

mstyanda 05-15-2015 02:05 PM

He will never see general population. Which is what pisses me off about our system. If we are going to be forced to feed, clothe and take care of people in prison then they should have to all live together in population once they have been convicted. People on death row or with high profile cases should not get the luxury of having a private, safe, isolated cell on our dime. Let general population sort it all out and what happens, happens.

4 years, here

X_X_ROB_X_X 05-15-2015 03:05 PM

Wasn't he already dying when they caught him being shot in the neck? So they spent countless dollars helping him recover to full health and now they sentence him to death. OHH OKAY, THAT MAKES SENSE.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev: at least a decade of appeals to follow death sentence | US news | The Guardian

But despite the dramatic news from the Boston courtroom on Friday, Tsarnaev?s fate will take years to reach its conclusion. Many of his new federal death row peers have been sitting waiting for the appeals process to work its way out for more than 20 years.

Though the Justice Department could attempt to fast-track executions in the name of public interest, death penalty experts expect the very quickest timeframe from Friday?s sentence to Tsarnaev actually being put on a gurney and injected with lethal chemicals would be at least 10 years.

georgeyw 05-15-2015 04:06 PM

I think the death penalty is far too easy for this guy. He gets to just skip out of the hellish life that he would endure in prison.

They don't put those on death row in with general pop. He will be in a cell by himself on death row for those 20 years.

ownedbox 05-15-2015 06:44 PM

hang by the head would be just. or cutting his knees and hands and let him live.

Mr Pheer 05-15-2015 06:50 PM

I think a lot of you have no idea how a supermax prison works. There is no such thing as general population there.

Stupid Tsarnaev brothers :(

The USA and EU were so excited about Chechen "rebels" (that's how they used to call those Muslim terrorists) and they were so happy to invite them and give them a citizenship... The same love story has happened to Taliban, which turned into 9/11 :2 cents:

So much ignorance in this thread.

1. People in supermax prison don't have a "general population". They are locked in a cell for 23 hours a day with a 4 inch wide window.

2. Complaining that the cops didn't kill him when he was dying. Is that the type of society you want to live in? One where cops can be trial and jury?

3. Timothy Mcveigh died in 4 years because he dropped his appeals. There will be a decade minimum until this guy is put to death. Probably closer to 15 or 20 years. It will also cost a ton more than if he was sentenced to life.

I agree that he seems like a little bitch and just wanted to do whatever his brother thought was right. I get the impression that if he wasn't the brother of a fucking idiot, he would have probably turned out to be a regular kid.

I also find it sad that the parents have to deal with 20 years of appeals and relive that day. They even asked for life in prison, which in fact would be 100x worse than lethal injection. 23 hour lockdown for life is no joke.

It's not really 23 hour a day lockdown :2 cents:

bronco67 05-16-2015 05:19 AM

Wouldn't rotting away in a cell for 23 hours a day be a more harsh punishment? Death is more of a reward compared to that.

.

you're right about that definitely. But wouldn't things have been easier if one of the 500 bullets cops fired at that boat hit it's mark? Every cop at the scene unloaded his clip and they still failed at sparing tax dollars and grief for the bombing victims.

Then what is it?

I would prefer a person is in prison instead of executed. No matter the crime. Isolation would be mental torture.

1. 3 or 4 people already posted prison info

2. no one here complained that the cops didn't kill him when they had the chance

3. i seriously doubt you walk around with the factoid that timothy mcveigh dropped his appeals.

who gives a fuck if he was a little bitch and do what his brother wanted. he DID what his brother wanted. and who gives a shit if this guy would have turned out to be a regular kid. the fact is he is not a kid and he didn't turn out a regular kid. he'a fucking adult who murdered.
