If you were independently wealthy, what would you do all day?

Be honest, what would you do, what projects or hobbies would you work on etc?

Barefootsies 02-01-2009 05:34 PM

More or less the same thing I am doing now.

I would just fast forward some other projects and plans from the 2-5 year up to 12-18 months.

:2 cents:

Iron Fist 02-01-2009 05:35 PM

why does it matter?

I would move to San Diego, on the beach somewhere, spend my days working out, surfing/swimming, fucking hot 18 y/o girls, surfing the net, and eating mexican food and drinking. I could do this for 10 years before I got bored.

BusterBunny 02-01-2009 05:42 PM

i'd spend it all and end up broke

Porn Producer 02-01-2009 05:44 PM

I would start a porn company where women had to come "try out" with me, the director.

Nicky 02-01-2009 05:45 PM

I'd spend all my day's in GFY contest threads.

d-null 02-01-2009 05:46 PM

travel more, bang more, sleep more, gamble more

SilentKnight 02-01-2009 05:51 PM

I'd travel the world doing photography.

fris 02-01-2009 05:55 PM

join the mob

It matters because if I got that way from work chances are I like what I do and would keep doing it.

ronaldo 02-01-2009 09:01 PM

Funny, from the replies, I always thought GFY was the place where only the independently wealthy came to post.

MandyBlake 02-01-2009 09:04 PM

i'd shop and travel and chill.

CyberHustler 02-01-2009 09:04 PM

Same here, I would fund my current projects and big a little riskier with where I put it. Without a risk there is no reward.

DWB 02-02-2009 02:11 AM

I pretty much live my ideal lifestyle already. Though I do want to learn how to sail and have not yet so I'd probably spend a lot more time learning that. I'd make more babies too.

Same here.

I have a pretty care free life, and am surrounded by young cuties sucking a mean toe. I get to work for me, and live and die on my own sword. I have earned what I have now, and appreciate it. I have fucked many, and enjoy traveling.

There are some more things I want to accomplish, but not working is not an option. I must have that daily feeling of accomplishment. However, some things left on my list are... (not in order)

1. Full service online record label. Streaming radio, production, A&R, distribution.
2. Dance club(s). Not strip clubs.
3. Own a Golf Course.
4. Either live on W. Coast, or split time between MI and Cali.
5. Travel around Europe/Japan/Aussie for a few months (diff trips).

NickB. 02-02-2009 02:21 AM

Id own a beach house with an army of women

friends and family would live a stress - free life

SomeCreep 02-02-2009 02:26 AM

I'd be this guy.

Libertine 02-02-2009 02:29 AM

If I had 25+ million...

I'd buy a nicer apartment, then do exactly the same things I do now.

That said... back to work!

d-null 02-02-2009 03:01 AM

I'm kind of curious to hear some answers from women.

Most guys would bang alot more women, sometimes two at once....

I wonder what women have as a top goal for entertainment if they were suddenly extremely rich?

sexandcash 02-02-2009 03:22 AM

I'd be a travel writer and write books about interesting and obscure places

I'd also write my realistic fiction novel that I'm currently doing research for....
that'd be swwwweeeeettttt

Why not just do that, then?

Interesting and obscure places aren't that expensive, usually, and writing fiction merely takes time.

tranza 02-02-2009 03:52 AM

I'd spend the rest of my life in a bangalo in Hawaii or Cayman Islands with 9 pornstars inside!

quiet 02-02-2009 03:53 AM

i actually live that sort of life, and this is what i spend my time doing:

traveling the world, live in a resort town (Whistler, BC) whenever i'm not traveling, in order to snowboard pretty much every day in the winter, and downhill bike pretty much every day in the summer. hike in the spring and fall (mostly fall). head to the southern hemisphere every n.american summer to snowboard. read lots of books, write, do road trips, a bit of volunteering, bitch on a blog about local politics, and manage investments... all with a great girl by my side to enjoy it all with. you don't need to work all the time in order to get the best out of life. i will never understand these people who always want to work no matter what. over-rated. there are a million other more interesting things to do in this world besides 'work'.

For some of us. It is that daily feeling of accomplishment.:2 cents:

yeah, i get that. my only point is that there are plenty of things that can give you a sense of accomplishment, that don't have anything to do with work in the traditional sense. climbing a mountain can be a huge accomplishment. traveling to a distant jungle or island, and finding your way through some physically demanding, sketchy sitations... the same thing. taking a new, harder, sketchier line down the mountain on a snowboard in a remote area you've never been to before... mega accomplishment.

again, i get where you are coming from though.
