Does anybody know wtf this creature is my dog just brought in? (Photos)
 

I noticed what at first glance looked like a piece of shit on the bed, but at closer inspection it was a weird, living creature. It looked like a cross between a snake and a centipede/insect of some kind.

Anyone out there have a clue what the hell it could be?

It displayed regenerative properties, as it's tail was starting to grow back after I assume being bitten off by my dog. We're taking the dog to the vet right now just in case the creature could be toxic.

heh i dont think a creature regenerates before the naked eye or even overnight , unless its microscopic.

but i think its a caterpillar pupae ( before its a butterfly )

The eyes are the fucked up part... I see caterpillars type things like that all the time but never with big ass bug eyes.

It's 100% certainly a caterpillar. His real eyes are tiny and hard to see. Those huge "eyes" are just markings on his body to make him appear to have larger eyes and therefore be a much larger/more dangerous/difficult to eat animal.

It's larva not lava, and moth (or butterfly) larva is just another way of saying caterpillar.
