Yes, each of those has one thing in common with tax payer funded abortion, but not both. War is morally objectionable to many. However, national defense is unavoidably a state function. Private individuals don't device to go to war, or to defend the nation, on their own dime. Government HAS to do defense. Government does not have to be in the abortion business. I'd like to point out that schools are paid for with local property taxes. The Federal govt. doesn't pay for them.
But people who actually OWN property do. And it doesn't matter if it's some retired couple in their 70's who haven't had children in school in 50 years...THEY are paying for everybody else's kids to go to public school.

The highways are supposed to be paid for by the federal gasoline tax that was put in by Clinton in the 1990's. I remember everyone raising hell about that tax, but we were all assured that we would never have to worry about the highways again.

So all this talk about highways and schools and other misconceptions is bullshit. The Federal Govt. is the one spending TRILLIONS of dollars per year and running our country into the ground with debt.

And none of our income tax money goes for schools or roads or police (that's local taxes) or any of the "civilized society" arguments made by folks on here.

It's all going to invade and occupy other countries, pay for lavish trips and perks for politicians (and they get their benefits for LIFE), and into the pockets of their cronies from their respective states.

It's theft, plain and simple.
