My brothers ex used to spend $400/wk for a family of four in the late 90's but they ate really, really, really well. Plus they had people over for dinner just about every night. It was a house people congregated at.

So divide by two? $800/mo?

If u ate rice and salt u will still live and really stretch ur budget.

We eat well, family of 4, healthy, high protein, $600 a week i guess. Occasional fast food, not including eating out.

We are only two people, and we stretch our dollars by stocking up on staples at Costco. We use the savings to buy our hormone-free free-range beef by the 25lb freezer pack straight from the rancher. I make my own bread in a bread machine and my own yogurt out of milk. Also we avoid the pre-chopped produce and instead just get regular sized carrots, a head of lettuce, etc. We spend $630 a month on groceries, not including any liquor. Hope that helps!

That's just groceries... Niece and nephew are only here every other weekend, and for a couple hours on Monday and Wednesday nights, we don't eat much, I have a bad habit of eating once maybe twice a day (need to fix it) and my sister eats out of vending machine at work and we just make something simple at night.

We're working on changing these bad habits.

We eat out almost everyday, but for groceries at home for my son, girlfriend and myself I'd guess around $150. a week.

Probably $50 on beverages, $30-40 on food, unless I eat out. Then you can add another $10-30.

Depends where we go for dinner, usually do a salad or snack for lunch then do a restaurant for dinner, on groceries and consumables for the home, maybe $50 a week, anywhere from $30-$100 a night depending on the restaurant though. That's for two of us, total.

For the two of us about $250 a week. We mostly live on fresh food that we prepare from scratch. No canned goods, no prepare food in a box. I'm a vegetarian and she eats a little fish every now and then.

Could eat for less but not as healthy.

$150/month for the three of us. My wife has her little routine - Costco, Wal Mart, and then oddly enough Big Lots. Big Lots is a goofy store but they have great deals on stuff.

A fair percentage of our weekly bill is beverages. At the same time, we do a lot of take out. We plan on stopping this after I come back from Vegas.

Eat well for about $125 a week by myself (includes detergant, shampoo etc). Add about $40 without Costco discount buying

I'm guessing $400-$500 / week for 2 adults + 2 kids. All produce + meats etc are organic
We usually eat out for lunch and kids eat at school.

about 150 a week for 2 of us. we used to go to a number of stores trying to get the best deals but eventually it seemed like the time it took wasn't worth the money it saved so now we just hit costco plus a grocery store.

We are 2 adults + 1 kid there full time and 1 kid here 10 days a month.

Around $400-600 I'd say.

around 400EUR for 2 people per month here...we have a baby but he's strictly on formula anyways so not counting that. We shop at one of the most expensive grocery stores though because I can't be fucked to walk 10km around tesco to do my shopping and there's never any lineups.

Family of 6 and we spend about $1200 per month on groceries. We rarely eat out. Try to eat healthy...lots of veggies and lean meats, whole wheat bread, eggs, that type of stuff.

About $1000 a month ($250 a week) for a family of 3. That's not a real big bill for my city.

That would be the one. Everything is 1,5 to 2x more expensive, and motherfuckers even charge you for the plastic bags. But again - no lineups, they have alot of fancy imported gourmet shit and the store is smaller then tesco so I don't have to walk 2km indoors to buy milk. There's one more here in Wroclaw that's even more expensive called Epi Market but I don't think its a nation-wide chain.
