I'm thinking about starting a review site in a mainstream niche. Making money from affiliate links. Just like porn review sites.

So I am curious on, how many part time reviewers should I need? And what should I pay them? Like Rabbits Reviews and The Best Porn in adult. How many do they have?

The most important thing will be to be profitable.

How profitable do you think The Best Porn and Rabbits Reviews are??

I had to make a search on that member. As I am not around here that much now days. I think I pass on that guy, though.

I need someone who is above average IQ, interested in the niche I'm going for. And overall a good communicator that can demonstrate the products.

I think I just put up an ad on Upwork when I'm ready for it.

Say $30/hour... not going to cost me tons then.

Great idea. But I'm leaning towards going more to the video review route. Not 100% video. But both video and then text for each review.

Rabbitreviews are making a very good bank for sure but they are a well known brand.

Alright, good to know. Then I probably got a chance to make even more bank. Because, the niche has much higher CPC than porn.

To me, there are two things that are very important when finding reviewers to work for you.

1. People who have knowledge about whatever it is you are going to review. They need to know what makes it bad or good.

2. The ability to then convey that opinion. If they like or don't like something they need to be able to explain why they feel that way in a reasonable and coherent manner.

When it comes to pay, If it were me doing the reviews I would charge by the hour because it isn't just writing something, you need to check out the site, try it out, and take your time exploring it and coming to an opinion of it. I would be willing to charge by the word, but I would factor my research time into it.

Thanks for the input. Yeah, I am leaning towards having new experts for every product. And instead of just having a review. I let them walk through it, as they are pros. Then I will show surfers scores from other sites, which are user rated scores. More authentic this way.

Gfy is great. Gets my juices flowing.

That sounds like a good idea. If you are looking for real, honest reviews then getting experts and letting them show off the products and letting users review them is a great way to go. An example of a site I like that does this is Rotten Tomatoes They have all the reviews from the "expert" reviewers, but they also show the audience's take on it.
