Three quick things.

1. Democrats are following the blueprint laid out by Republicans with Obama. Say no to everything, obstruct, block, and complain. It worked for them. I don't condone it, but it is what is happening.

2. We are starting to see Democrats making their moves. This weeks' net neutrality vote is a big thing for them. When the midterms come around later this year they will have most of the Republicans on record as voting against it. Democrats need young voters to turn out and this is an issue that they are strongly interested in.

3. The Democrats didn't lose the black vote to Trump. Trump got 8% of the black vote.

I would love to see the sides work together like they did not too long ago, but that will take both sides willing to do this. It seems like you would like the same thing, but you also seem to lay all the blame at the foot of the Democrats when this is very much a two way street.

He can't be subpoenaed or indicted without supreme court imprimatur. Bill Clinton didn't resign, neither will Trump.

I watch CNN 8 hours a day while working. From 9am to 5pm there is 0 news Mark. Only time there is news is if it is anything non political. All MSM (Fox included) have moved away from news and more into these pundit round tables where everyone sits and confirms each others points of view.

On the rare occasion that CNN tries to have 2 people on with opposing points of view the host always shouts down the conservative, their demeanor throughout the segment changes almost instantly compared to how they are for the rest of the hour. Past 5pm I cannot speak to how CNN or MSNBC hosts report or act but from 9-5 this is how it is every day.

Does Fox also have opinion shows? Of course they do in the evenings. Hannity, Tucker, Ingraham....all OPENLY admitting they are conservatives and Republicans.

Meanwhile on CNN EVERY show ALL DAY AND NIGHT is a "talk show" opinion-fest with panels "dicsussing" Donald Trump and how horrible he is. And they claim to be "unbiased" "journalists"

Oh man...FDR is a great example of political liberalism and the media protecting it.
Today the media is "investigating" Trump fucking a prostitute/porn star.
But in FDR's time...they hid from the American people that FDR was in a wheelchair and helped stage public events where he held on to a podium to be seen "standing" and "walked" with two aides on each side holding him up.

And then when JFK was President...he was fucking prostitutes, movie stars, etc. and the press hid that from the people as well. (not blaming them...it's really nobody's business what the President does in his private time)

It's really disgusting to see the double standard they have.

And I think that it's going to reflect in the mid-terms and again in 2020.
The "Blue Wave" that Anderson Cooper, Rachel Maddow, and the rest of the talking heads were so giddy about has become a "blue trickle" at this point.
It looks like this will be the first time in a LONG time that the party in office of the Presidency is going to retain both the House and Senate.
