I find it hard to believe he would just "quit" . That's just not his style. However, one can only take so much abuse. He is taking hit after hit after hit, every day, and no matter what he just can't get in a single good day. It's got to wear on him.

At the same time, I think the press is beating up on him. On my Microsoft Surface I use a news app and I've noticed most articles drop after a day, but some articles can stay for weeks... Always bad ones about Trump.

Whatever, I don't really care at this point. I'm stunned he won, and stunned he is still in office. I would be surprised if he makes it through his four year term.

I can only see a couple of ways in which he might quit.

One would be if either the Mueller investigation or the Stormy Daniels situation ends up with him in serious trouble he might step down to avoid impeachment.

I could also see the Democrats taking back the house and maybe Senate in November and they then put the full court press on him and all of this drags out for another couple of years then Trump announces that he has saved the country and decides not to run for a second term.

Basically, yes. If he were charged with a crime he could, potentially, still be tried for it, but if he steps down there wouldn't be an impeachment. Nixon did just that. Not me dude. I've been right about Trump all along, right from the beginning. I'm a New Yorker and have known of Trump for thirty years.

Here is EXACTLY what will happen/is happening now: Trump rides the Obama economy wave for another 1-1.5 years. Then the economy starts to slow done due to all his deregulation and financial policy that only benefits HIM (and his cronies). Then a war breaks out. Excuse me, a conflict. Just in time for the Re-Election!

Trump is Re-Elected. The economy bubbles along due to the increased war effort until Year 7-7.5 of his Presidency. Then the Bill comes due. Another banking crash, another Stock Market crash, huge lay-offs, consumer confidence in the tank...Democrats (the "Good Cops") take advantage of the growing distrust of Republicans (the "Bad Cops") and take power. After all, it's their turn, right?

Agreed...many times people have been "underemployed" during the last 10 years after the economy crashed.

The good news is that it appears that companies are repatriating capital back into the U.S. thanks to the reduction of Corporate tax rate and bringing REAL jobs back with them.

Smack dat So Fucking Banned Industry Role: Join Date: Jul 2016 Posts: 4,613	Well he is doing much better than any previous president so it would be a shame if he stepped down. It's unlikely though, it's just not his style. Pretty sure he will be around for many more years to come.
