Google's algorithm has a ways to go...

Been doing SEO on my websites for the past year, taking care to acquire quality relevant links, quality handwritten content, and I would be the first to preach that you "can't trick google" anymore because they are too smart. I really believed that....until last night.

Using ahrefs I've taken a close look at some new sites (which are younger then mine and only created in 2021) which are beating me in the rankings and holding top positions for target keywords. We are talking lower to mid competition keywords, nothing intense. With their backlinks checker, I've discovered these sites have similar 100% spam backlink profiles which is clearly done with software. The kinda links you would expect to hurt your site. Just scrolling through their backlinks is a nightmare on display. Nothing legit, nothing good, lots of spun content sites and blatent spam.

Then on the websites themselves, we're talking purely auto generated AI content.... and the sites on-site SEO is nothing special or better then mine. What I am witnessing first hand is that because these sites have a much bigger VOLUME of backlinks and content then me, it's ranking them higher. Not to say these are good long term tactics, but I thought we were wayyyy past these kinda tactics successfully ranking websites... I am shocked. Shocked I tell you!

Yeah I've seen that for awhile now.

Either you have quality content with visitors who stay on your page for a good amount of time, or you go the black hat route. Black hat still works very well.

Yes, it is not a secret that google is letting adult sites get away with it, but they can also be removed from SERPS suddenly.

How do you measure onsite optimization quality (text quality) to be sure you are doing a better job?

Yes its good news.

Much rather see that shit working, then see it took years of very high quality links & human content.

The bar is lower then I thought lol. Is this only applicable in "adult" though or all search? Opinions?

Well in terms of the keywords I'm targeting, they appear in titles and throughout the text, I also use well written unique content that I purchase from writers. The goal is demonstrating to google the theme of all the content is centered around the keywords targeted. So if the keyword was "peaches" then the content would be in-depth about peaches, with multiple titles also containing that keyword. "Everything you need to know about Peaches" then several subtitles "The best time to harvest peaches" "Determining ripeness of peaches" etc. As much depth on the topic as possible. Even the domain name would also contain the keyword, and the entire site would be about peaches. Everything centers around the keyword. We are talking dedicated an entire site to 1-2 keywords, which is also what the competitor is doing.

But where I am falling short, is they have 20x the volume of content and a ton of interlinking all throughout the site. Not sure if the interlinking is doing anything, but the sheer volume of of links and content is winning over google. They are going hard in that respect.

Those sites have a tendency to rank for a while but eventually google figures it out and de-ranks them.

Yeah I'd imagine it's not the most sustainable way of doing it. I"m going to use human content, just need to find a volume of links that aren't garbage and doesn't cost $XX,XXX lol

Thanks but these links are ranging from $120 -$3500+ for ONE link per ONE MONTH. How is this compatible with me getting a large volume of links affordably Would cost me about $10 grand/month for even a small volume of links here. Ahhhhhhh

I purchased a hard link for 450.00 for the year.

Look on the SEO blogs/links.

I'll trade with you.

$1k+ / year is the going rate for high-quality links

the big players are all spending $xx,xxx / month on high-quality links

if you cant afford that, you go blackhat and pray for the best

What I've learned is that non of the content writers I had experience with, was able to make a real SEO text. They don't have knowledge for that, just writing about some subject is not enough. It can work if competition is bad but in reality, it takes much more than just writing by humans.

For example, just adding keywords through text is not enough. You can over-optimize it but the real question is to know when it is enough. Using Yoast SEO and their advice about keyword density is usually wrong.

So the only way to do it is to do a deep analysis of the competition. This means having proper tools and knowledge to understand collected data. In this particular case, looking at 10 best optimized (not ranked but optimized because you can rank well based on link profile) and then making a list of words you will also have to use on your page. In the ideal world, you would use them all and then add something more. This kind of analysis requires a lot of time.

Sometimes, I am making an article for a week but it is worth it. I have a big number of very well ranked cam keywords based on this approach.

Anyway, I am glad someone is taking care seriously about SEO. What you described is good, smart and responsible.

Yes, internal linking is also important, you can transfer authority from well-developed pages to the new ones .

Be free , drop me some of your SEOed pages by email and I will take a look. Not selling you anything or offering service of any kind.

There really isn't that many high-quality links in adult to sustain $xx,xxx per month long term. I've definitely had a few months spending in that range, but usually high $x,xxx until renewals come around.

Now.. there are people who think their links are worth mid $x,xxx per year just because their site is 12 years old but only gets 10k / day SE. So you COULD waste money on those. But I can just build sites for less with that SE amount.

Not surprising. Adult SEO is very different from mainstream SEO

If you want to get ahead the white hat way in Adult SEO, copy what Pornhub did.

Issue press releases that gets the mainstream media's collective dick hard
