How much exclusive content....

How much exclusive content do you think is decent enough to hold members, considering you got a lot of plugins which are on most paysite

Im thinking maybe 20,000 exlclusive pics? + Madd plugins(video, etc)

i really have no idea if exclusive content does what it's supposed to do.

i had a new potential customer on ICQ tonight, so we got to chatting about business and his websites which do have nothing but exclusive content. So his thoughts on what is going on with paysites/memberareas today is that customers will book out of a site just as fast on a site with exclusive content as one with a shitty members area full of crappy plugins. The surfer just enjoyed the exclusive content site more, but he's still leaving just as fast to find the next paysite to join.

um.........so i ask him 'then why are you investing money in exclusive content? why not just put up the killer front end the big boys do and go with a cheap shitty members area?'

he paused for quite awhile - i can't even paraphrase his answer to that one but he concluded that somehow it does make sense and besides that he takes alot of pride in his paysites.

man am i bad salesman, i think I almost talked him out of buying any more exclusive content!

very bright guy though with some quality sites.

The more the better. 20,000 maybe to open the site, keep adding more every 2-4 weeks.

Personally, I shoot exclusive content and I've got over 3 years of amateur girls (18-22), however, I'll never sell it. I do it because you'll make that money over and over... plus if the surfer likes the site, he'll rebill... which is the purpose. If you provide a shitty members area, which is what 95% of the sites do, he won't rebill. To this day, I join sites only with exclusive content!!

Also, I get emails everyday from surfers wanting more of a certain girl and they feel more connected with the girl. Also, I plan on adding more vhs/dvd videos, which I'll sell on my site(s).

We update with 100% exclusive content 7 days a week every day of the year including Christmas day.

Summer slowdown? Bullshit... You could have bought a house a couple of years ago with the money that just one of our sites made last week.

There is no magic number.

You can have 20,000 exclusive sets/videso, but if they were shot by some amateur who does not have a clue forget about it. Exclusive shit still stinks.

Or you can buy non-exclusive from guys that really know how to shoot and make a packet. Or buy exclusive off guys that know how to shoot and really clean up.

Then it's down to buying the right thing, having a central theme that will appeal to 1% of the surfers out there and make them feel as if this is THEIR site.

Aso looking around at what else is out there, in the same niche. If the shooter has been doing it 6 to 24 months he has yet to develope a style and method. He will produce like most of the other guys just starting out. A niche that is over killed, not a bad niche just too many in it.

Plus it's more than just the content, it's whether the guy feels he's in a site that respects him and not just thrown together to get one months sign up.

yes they do. there are lots of sites out there with hundreds of thousands of dollars invested in exclusive content, either shot it themselves or paid someone else to do it. Not all at one time, they just keep adding over time.

So you don't have to go out and spend $20,000 on exclusive shoots, spend as much as you think you can. Keep adding as you go along.

No... Why bother when you can fill a site with shitty plug-ins?

all plugins aren't shitty, though most are crap. thing with plugins is that as customers are hopping from site to site he's running into exactly the same content over and over.

but a good plugin can be more than just filler content.
when i check out a site I look for the few plugins I like - BubbleGirls, Socalstreams, AEBN feeds, GlobalGirls Gallery, Hustler.

I'm sure surfers have a few plugins they count on being there, and their choices would be different than mine.

So how much profit do you want to be making a year, in a year from now?

$10k per annum?
$20K per annum?
$30K per annum?

So now look at any other business. Would they invest $30K in stock to make $30K profit a year?

If you want to invest $300 and make $30,000 I think you are in the wrong industry. This business is about, hard work, money and talent.

Plus any guy shooting exclusive sets for $150 is doing so because he cannot sell them 4-5 times off his own content providing site or his clients do not think his stuff is worth more. We do not shoot at that price.

you need at least 60,000 photos, and 120 clips.

Hey that's what I have! Funny, that.

In all seriousness, it depends on who you are targetting and the quality and quantity of your traffic and feed. Some of our customers swear by our exclusive work and say thats what makes their sites convert.

Others have bought bulk deals through us and some of the more saturated deals, simply so they can say they have 40,000 photos and 5,000 videos.

No question about it though, custom and exclusive content converts.

Hit me up on ICQ if you have any questions or content needs for exclusives, and I can give you a great deal if what we produce meets your needs, or point you to the providers who might be a better solution.
