CCBill Approval Time/Process

How long is CCBill taking on average to approve sites & what are they looking at when they approve? Didn't see any guidelines at their site.

Thx -

It has been a bit since my last pay site and approval so this may have changed.

It used to take a few days, up to a week. Then if you applied for VISA, that could take a month or more. But I suppose it depends on how backed up their are now a days.

So I would say plan for a week on initial, and a month or so for VISA.

Good luck!

Thx for the info - a month for Visa, that sucks.

Anyone know what they're looking for?

Usually takes about 24 hours for CC Bill to approve a site, then another 7 days or so for Visa approval.

Unless the process is changed, you had to pay the VISA fee, and then they submitted your site to them for approval. So they will do a more checking to make sure the site is compliant.

To my understanding, CCB can clear the MC, Discover and so on more easily in house. VISA is an extra step with their own compliance dept..

This process could have been sped up and processed faster no a days. But I know all my old sites fell into these time windows. Hopefully it goes much faster for you.

Ruff I really hope you speak truth!

Has anyone had a reason for being dinged or resubmitted to VISA - are they anal in their review?

Yep.

Make sure your site is in compliance for all their rules. Including binding and some of those little quirks. Including the images, and use of, on join page.

I've submitted 3 sites for approval within the past few weeks and this has been basically the same for all 50+ of my CC Bill sites. 24 hour site approval by CC Bill, 7 days average Visa approval.
The odd thing is Epoch can approve a site with Visa approval within 24 hours. That's a mystery to me. ( I use Epoch in cascading billing)
