Why does Youtube put ads on some vidoes and not others - GoFuckYourself.com

I have always wondered why Youtube puts ads in some of my videos and not others. Just started happening recently and some of the videos which they have put ads on, have less views than others.. dont make sense to me

they only do it to yotube partners to get there you need to have either more than 1000 subs on your channel with original content or more than 100,000 channel views.

I heard they pay for this also. Could just be a rumor, but I heard some people make bank!

Well its starting to piss me off cause when the ads popup it blocks out my url on the video and I did not know I was a youtube partner either ..nobody told me, the ads just mysteriously apeared on the video.. Fuck it Ill just delete the videos with the ads

Partners accounts put the ads in and you get paid through your adsense account.

Yeah if you link your adsence account to youtube, but I cant because they banned my account for having one url on one of my mainstream sites which was selling samurai swords, knives ect which they said broke thier TOS

That doesn't sound right, ad should only come up if you put it in.

I did not put any ads in cause I cant I dont have an adsense account anymore and wont use them ever again because of the money they kept. It just apeared in the video

They put up ads if the content is pinched from elsewhere ie music vids, tv, movies etc...

Reencode with your URL elsewhere. Done.

I got offered ads after one video had hit 70k views.

From what I read you need tons of hits to make any kind of decent $$.
