Google EMD algo update
Looks like a lot of EMD's (those with low-quality content/backlink profile) got hit with this algo update.

looks like you are a fag?!
|
this should be good
|
That sucks i see some sites already affected.
|
the serp for key "cam girls" has been cleaned.
I think all exact matching sites and similar domains with new extensions like .co received a dropped from the google serp |

MY SE is sky rocketing, will will be good for some here too :D
|
Sounds like fun! :D

It seems mostly EMDs with shitty/spammy backlinks are affected. As long as you have quality content and strong backlinks you should be fine.

Google has become a bit of a joke. I know of terms where the first and second pages are 100% filled, no exaggeration, every single listing, with a network of scraper tubes from the same group all linking to each other and buying back links.
Sometimes when I do searches mysteriously Google will start returning only a few results for no reason. But if I go to Bing and try it the search will show thousands more results. Or the same if I try it later on Google again it will work as normal. It looks like they are experimenting with some more bullshit even yet. |

Google killed .net keyword domains, and any other

#1 in a competitive SERP that I'm working on there's a blogspot with 4, yes 4, embed videos from xhamster and no text.

That being said I've been backlinking an EMD for a couple of weeks now and it only recently passed 300 UV/day. It has tons of pages indexed in Google and the backlinks are quality. So I'd be really curious to see what you're doing on that one, that I'm missing on mine. |

I have a few EDMs (various extensions, they all have 50+ pages of content and legit backlinks) and it seems the only one that got hit by this update is a co.uk EMD that I purchased like 2 months ago. It already ranked #7 for its kw.

dunno what happend with google but we now got a better ranking

Looks like my sologirl EMD blogs took a hit on this so far.
Not sure what other kind of domain I would get for a model other than something with her name in it? I mean... |

I can understand Google going after EMDs in newer extensions - there's probably a higher percentage of spam/thin sites on those than on EMDs in com/net/org, plus IF domain age is a factor of any significance, avg age of the newer exts would be lower than com/net/org. We sell primarily com/net/org EMDs, mostly in mainstream, and our sales have been going up lately.

100% Agree! We had a .net number 1 ranking for a very competitive term. Now its no where to be found. |

That's what google wants anyways :D |
