Answer me this....how long will Paxum be in business?
All you webmasters and companies that lost thousands, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of dollars with Epassporte.....do you HONESTLY think Paxum won't suffer the same fate? Once Visa figures out this is a clone, they will do the same thing. I don't know anything about Paxum, nor did I follow the Epass story to the letter, this just seems like a no-brainer to me. The only logical conclusion I came up with is that everyone is keeping a low or no balance with Paxum and drawing out money as fast as it comes in.
I guess we will be setting up Paxum for webmasters, since it seems the community expects it now. |

we dont know exactly what happened with epassporte, so there is really no way to tell if Paxum is going to suffer the same fate. A rumor I heard was they did not have enough money to cover what was in the accounts or something along those lines.
Paxum will be viable for as long as they do good business IMO but I will admit that my personal account is kept with an extremely low balance |

I estimate it will take about six to seven years. Then they will take all the money and run.

We follow all the rules and regulations laid down to us by Mastercard and our banks. We have a strong KYC (Know Your Customer) in place, we do not accept gambling of any form, and we maintain 100% of deposited funds, along with an additional 10% to guarantee fast fluid access to your cash.
George, I've spoken to you before about Paxum and I'd be happy to chat to you some more. I just left you a message on ICQ, I can address any questions you may currently have.

You said that you don't know anything about Paxum or ePassporte in the same sentence. Pretty strong opinion for self-admittedly knowing nothing.

Listen, my company lost money, tons of my friends lost, it sucked for the industry. I know enough to formulate speculation. I am just asking a question and looking for some facts and opinions. The pharm and gambling was a good point, thanks. Maybe you haters read the 'tone' of my thread incorrectly. I only wish long lasting success for everyone, especially Paxum.

You don't need to know much, facts speak for themselves... there is no question that epass went under... we can debate how or why, but the fact remains that people lost millions, and I doubt it was because Mallick one day decided to fuck people over....

Let's get real here for a minute: At the end of the day it's a way for people to not pay taxes on income generated, the IRS or another branch of the government will bust in and boom it will be gone, money seized, everyone screwed again. Who we kidding here? You don't think they watch this type of stuff? Especially with all the terrorist tracking going on?
This reminds me of my Youtube accounts. We submit non-nude videos of our show everyday. Sometimes the account lasts 2 months, sometimes 2 days. We get a deactivated notice from them with a list of things that 'could' be the reason we got shut down. There's no rhyme or reason for it, especially when there's 10x worse videos on there. No replies from emails, all work lost, waste of time...start over. I feel this business model is too volatile to trust with too much money. |

They have been doing this for two or three months already and have had no problems... well, except those five or ten pointed out on here... and they've only lowered the amount you can withdrawal once in the two to three months they've been doing this. I expect longevity. Relax and live!

With Epass anyone with a biz account could issue a card to any name, delivered to any address, which makes it a money laundering machine.
Paxum requires ID before issuing any card from what I hear. That's just one of the differences that I know of that will help them stay kosher and stay in biz. Most of us have been doing this long enough to know that any company dealing with funds can just vanish, protect yourself and you shouldn't be hurt too bad is something happens eventually.

Sally want to do an adult internet trivia game 1996 to now? We'll play for pink slips or titles to houses. You are a pair of clown shoes. You act like one of these right-wing brainwashed Republicans that defended George Bush. Can't handle ANY questions....ANY criticism. If you represent Paxum you are embarrassing them right now.

Paxum and Payoneer are not clones of Epassporte at all. There is much more diligence required to have an account now. Epassporte was playing games from day one, they started to tighten up near the end but the damage was done.
Another major difference is that these new products are using MasterCard, not Visa. You never know these days what's going to happen long term with any company. I do think these companies are going to be doing business. Be smart, don't leave large balances in your account and there is nothing to worry about.

Well said, but sounds more like wishful thinking AJ.
What will happen in 3 months when Mastercard pulls out? Are people going to lose all Mastercard balances? What's the end game here? I think Mastercard is the kiss of death on any adult internet level, unless you run a 100% self-sufficient website (no affiliates), or ONLY work with a ccbill or paycom 3rd party biller. |

So if or when Mastercard pulls out, people will NOT be penalized or deducted money? (like Verotel and 900 numbers....some of you KNOW what I am saying).

My replies to your unfounded statements are what you don't like. And WTF does George Bush have to do with Paxum? You off your ADD meds today? You're flitting around the subject like a moth circling a buglight! Not to mention the Red Herrings of which you're so fond! (Get out the nets boys, those Red Herrings are better than FLYING FISH!) I do not represent Paxum but I do have an account there and have assisted others in setting up their accounts. To refresh in your memory the sequence of events in this this travesty of a pastiche of a parody of a pastiche of a joke of an OP: The OP first admitted that he didn't know what he was talking about as he had not followed the ePassporte situation and then said he knew little about Paxum and then went on to bless us with his "opinion" and then told us what the Credit Card company would think about it as though the OP is possessed of some psychic ability like Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce or Jeanne Dixon! Failing in any kind of meaningful response, the OP then resorted to the last bastions of the intellectually outmaneuvered...........the Ad Hominem attack and the Red Herring! And just what DOES George Bush have to do with this thread? Allow me to correct myself. You did ask one question; "How long will Paxum be in business?" My answer: A very long time. |

But seriously, its a good question considering all the additional measures ePass took over the past year asking for verified documents before being cut off.
