Do any of you realize this recent attack in San Bernadino could be a one-off anomaly that never happens again? How many jumbo jets have been flown into buildings since 9-11?

I'm not saying it could be just the first in a long line of terrorist cells in the USA, but it could just as easily be a fluke.

We have many other things killing our citizens besides jihadists, but it looks like that's all Republicans want to focus on because fear is their business.

When Timothy McVeigh bombed a building in Oklahoma, no one went around threatening to prevent Christians from entering the country. Timothy McVeigh was in the US Army; Perhaps we should start screening them and denying them passports too.

In this case the threat isn't from outside - Society did nothing to prevent this American citizen from obtaining an assault rifle. And there are hundred of thousands of people just like him who own assault rifles.

Muslims cannot be allowed visas for some indefinite time -- people of every other religion may apply. The terrorists were Muslim so all Muslims should be suspected terrorists.

I find it amusing that Lindsay Graham and Barack Obama are essentially saying the same thing. And most world leaders are saying likewise. That attacking Islam will not stop Islamic Fundamentalist terrorism.

No, it's not a religious war on the ''infidel's'' part. But if Trump had the judgement that a world leader should have he would have proposed a 100% ban on all visas, for a reasonable time. He's a reactionary and that is worse than fear.

What happened in San Bernardino may have been a premature act of terrorism and not against the primary target. What were all the pipe bombs that were discovered unused intended for?

I would be more in favor of effective terrorist control that any indiscriminate gun control legislation.
