You should really DEACTIVATE this, guys, because why would you want money on an account where you CAN'T recover your money??

yes, I know, but many guys here don't have a US Bank Account...

.

Even if you don't have a US bank account you can still get the money out your wallet by international wire transfer.
Their should be no problem for anyone to get their funds out of their wallet.
So if a sponsor pays you to epass, and you have it set to receive the funds in your wallet, you can always get the funds out.

Please stop speculating nonsense. Its time to sit and wait for the resolution next week. Meanwhile it would be great if most sponsors start working in an alternative backup payment method to Epassporte just if this happens again. Looks like OKPAY is a nice option with debit Mastercard and P2P transfers.

Agree! :thumbsup

not to speak for MO but I'm pretty sure it will be tuesday...seems logical because of the long weekend. Remember wires take a few days, always have

Since they're a privately held company they don't have to answer the question, but is very curious, nevertheless. Why the secrecy? It makes people wonder...

Anyways, the 25 employee number is, imho, probably in the ballpark +/- 10.

Ron

Administrative perhaps. Call center wise...much higher.

I do not know at this time as soon as there is news we will message your message center and post here.

are there currently negotiations happening with Visa over the weekend or is everything silent or waiting for the long weekend to get over? Or in other words: Was there any progress being made since Friday morning?

Second thing is, how is your personal evaluation of the situation with the visa electron? Is there any chance left that it could be activated again? Or if there will be a resolution be found it will more likely be that we have to wait for a replacement card?

I ask this, because that bugs me more than the funds being frozen right now. I usually only keep a little balance. But, I am having sponsor payouts on hold and I need those funds very soon. I do not want to re-route those payouts prematurely to wires (not even possible in all cases).

What I have been told from Management is that we are working on solving this and expect to have a solution this week.

Normally under the best of circumstances it takes 2-3 business days to send out wires because the account have to be reviewed first.
We will send out wires as quickly as we can process them but you can imagine we have a lot of wire request and documents coming in and we process the wires in the order we get them in but there may be a delay because of the number we received

I'm sorry if this has already been answered, but why has this happened? What is the reason for this event to occur? I'm assuming that Visa didn't just one day decide to shut down your program without any warning, what was done in the lead up to these events and, more importantly, why were no steps taken by ePassporte to prevent as much damage as possible?

This is the question that I'd like answered, and I'd like it answered as in-depth as possible. What reason does anyone have to trust ePassporte from now on? Or was this something that you couldn't have prevented at all?

Michael doesn't have those answers, and those who do, will not post them in public.
Pay attention.

One of my sponsors' payouts did not arrive on epassporte.
It says they paid on Sept 2nd in Nats. I don't fear for the money being lost, because the sponsor is top notch. But still, I don't see why it should not have gone through.

Besides, all active sponsors have now put epassporte on hold.

Darkcrni 09-06-2010 01:02 AM

Man if this all ends well, all make a huge party.

Fingers crossed.

Hellfire 09-06-2010 01:12 AM

if everyone will spend 5% of their epass money to the "epass-survive-celebration-party", it will beat olympiс game's opening show, and any other arab mega-hotels opening events 8))))))

I hope your teerak is recovering and you get a good rest when this settles. If you visit Samui dinner is on me :winkwink:

Matyko 09-06-2010 02:19 AM

i suspect this to happen because of epasses relationship with gambling sites...

ok, one more question Michael. Is there anyway to permanently opt out of the visa card program if you don't use it? I don't want to have to send an email every year to keep from getting the $35 fee.

negative.... For the debit card you need a checking account connected to it. We don't have account with this bank. It's big VISA's corporate account that's filled with money which is on our cards.
