P2PADS will sell traffic for installs.

Just giving you guys some free publicity since you are so open about how you do installs.

http://www.gfy.com/showthread.php?t=595595 for more info.

no wonder you jumped my ass in my other thread about spyware, and then you tried to play it off. Seems i struck a nerve since that is what you do.

Isn't that a conflict of interest? If you sell p2p traffic to Mike who does installs (which over writes affiliate codes) and then you sell traffic to Jim, who is pushing programs that his is missing out on signups because Mike's installs infected a lot of p2p users computers, isn't that a conflict of interest, or do you just not care as long as it is legal...

fuck the haters right.

nice

Good read: http://www.gfy.com/showthread.php?t=595595

care to share which companies you do installs for ?? Or which install companies you sell traffic to ?

Is it really surprising? DH has always been a fat greedy bitch stealing every penny he can from whoever he can, especially his fellow webmasters. No wonder he became a landlord. As long as it's legal . . . he doesn't need any ethics.

Yep we sell traffic to companies that do legitimate LEGAL installs.

If you don't like that, then take your business somewhere else..

I think you are confusing a couple of things. While most companies have the legalities of proper notification, TOS, etc. covered they are still breaking the law by stealing or letting others bid on urls to steal cookies. I'd suggest cracking open the law book again.

It has been no secret, we have always offered traffic from P2PADS for legitimate legal installs. We don't deal with spyware or any companies that installs seem grey or don't have visible terms of service... Or any companies that do silent installs.

I have never denied it, I have no problem with it personally as long it is legal and isn't fucking up people's machines.

What's funny about it? It's common knowledge that those who will deal in installs have no moral or ethical standards and will fuck other affiliates, the programs that pay them, and anyone else who gets in their way. What a blatant display of idiocy from both of you.

What about if the install effectively inserts an unwarranted affiliate "middleman" via a forced click at the last possible moment, effectively stealing affiliate commissions from legitimate affiliates (and also stealing full sales from sponsors)?

That's legal right now. Or at least it hasn't been successfully challenged. And it doesn't fuck up people's machines. It just screws the affiliates and sponsors.

Maybe it hasn't been challenged but there is no chance it is legal even in Canada which is behind the times about 40 years.

just FYI everyone

it was pointed out in the original thread by EEE that he is part of MediaMotor

here is some fun facts about who DH is now dealing with:

http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...8&q=mediamotor

MediaMotor is a trojan downloader that downloads and installs additional malware and adware from remote servers.

Autostarts/Stays Resident
Force, hidden or stealth install
Stealth Tactics
Connects to the internet
Shows Advertisements
High Bandwidth

MediaMotor also may display pop-up ads on the infected machine.

real interesting shit here: http://www3.ca.com/securityadvisor/p...x?id=453096257

what could possibly be installed on my PC that wouldn't fuck up my machine in one way or another? Remember some of these guys are paying up to $1 per install. As far as i'm concern, if I want something, i'll download it myself... I don't need you to put something there without my knowledge.

And I'm sure he's buying up more ads than all of the adult industry combined which is why the finger can be flipped in this direction so easily. Hope he makes retirement money before they get slapped with fines and shut down forever at least.

Seriously folks.....DH and the crew are some of the most solid people in this business. Not everyone can earn the big money (LOL) selling thier sigs....some of us are actualy out thier making REAL MONEY ON THE INTERNET. I know that if all the webmasters on this board could make 7 figures pushing legit , leagal installs....they would turn it down in 2 seconds flat to keep sitting in a basement somewhere building galls and bitching about the same sponsors and large companies that they so gladly pick scraps from. If you dont like the way the world works...start a real company.....get in the game.....change the rules. Till then, just sit tight and keep complaining about your 3 join check being a day late. That is all.

Wow, are you two serious? Someone starts a thread, and DH says "hit me up" and somehow you two have come to the conclusion that a sale was immediately made and deals struck and complete back ground histories exchanged all before an icq authorization was made?

Just because DH uttered the immortal words "hit me up", that doesn't automatically mean that they went for drinks and toasted the end of the world.

Seriously people. Put away the emotions and think about this.

I would be SOOOOOOOOOO happy to lose that part of my income!!! It would show tenfold in other areas and more than make up for it. I wouldn't lose anything to scums like you who help spread crap all over the internet and those who steal from the rest of us.

sorry, I am against installs...I make enough money already and don't feel I need to resort to having the surfer distrust me over something like this

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adware

"Some adware is also shareware, and so the word may be used as term of distinction to differentiate between types of shareware software. What differentiates adware from other shareware is that it is primarily advertising-supported. Users may also be given the option to pay for a "registered" or "licensed" copy to do away with the advertisements."

"It is not uncommon for people to confuse "adware" with "spyware" and "malware", especially since these concepts overlap. For example, if one user installs "adware" on a computer, and consents to a tracking feature, the "adware" becomes "spyware" when another user visits that computer, and interacts with and is tracked by the "adware" without their consent."

Just because DH uttered the immortal words "hit me up", that doesn't automatically mean that they went for drinks and toasted the end of the world.

Seriously people. Put away the emotions and think about this.
Come on... a good business person doesn't just say hit me up. They do a little research on them first or least remember the company they represent and/or keep. He said he'd never heard of them, how can that be?

But then again, I did say "good business person".

Oh? And just how many traffic trades, affiliate sales, traffic purchases and other deals are made daily on this board without people knowing each other, do you figure??

Care to take a guess how many background checks Choker does before selling traffic to people?

Your knowledge of the company you keep absolutely floors me. I think you should start attending Kellie's presentations and learn a thing or two.

You're 100% scum.

I have never denied it, I have no problem with it personally as long it is legal and isn't fucking up people's machines.

DH
So what are the names of the companys you deal with then?

That's legal right now. Or at least it hasn't been successfully challenged. And it doesn't fuck up people's machines. It just screws the affiliates and sponsors.
DH-

When the bickering is finished, I'd really like to know if you will facilitate adware/spyware that operates in the above manner.

Come on already... we're not talking about every trade made on this board every day. DH says that he ONLY sells to company that do "legitimate legal installs". How would he know that if he doesn't research them first? He just takes their word for it?
