I love all the people playing armchair quarterback or those that are shocked that you all aren't as smart as them in not seeing this coming...I feel bad for all of you that's got money frozen in Epass, and hope to see you all get this back as quickly as possible, although, I know that's a tall order :(

it ain't over until the fat lady sings

Each day...:(

mainkey 09-07-2010 01:53 PM

And I have a new song for epassporte. They can play it on their support phone or on their website. I guess it would be fabulous solution.

lyrics at the end of the song are very nice too.

UNITED INTERNATIONAL BANK, about 2 months ago.

My guess is that's where the funds in the wallet are. Maybe some beef with StKitts National?

Update, Sept. 7, 1:07 p.m. ET: Visa just issued the following statement:

?At the request of St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank (SKNA), on September 2, 2010, Visa blocked network access for prepaid cards issued by SKNA and operated by ePassporte.com to address certain program deficiencies. ePassporte.com is a third-party agent that works with SKNA.

?It is important to note that impacted SKNA prepaid cardholders are still able to access their funds through SKNA or SKNA?s agent, ePassporte.com. For more information cardholders should contact SKNA or ePassporte.com.

?Visa is committed to maintaining the integrity of its global payment network and routinely conducts due diligence to ensure Visa prepaid programs adhere to the company?s stringent program requirements and controls.?

Source is the Krebs security blog, but I cannot post urls because I have less than 30 posts, check his blog yourself!!

So it's not Visa the problem maker???

Yes, it's not VISA. It's SKNA. The money in Eppaporte wallet is in different bank so you still can try to get them. Anything you had on "VISA virtual account" was in SKNA which has blocked the Epassporte accounts. This is why you can't withdraw your money.

Just thinking out loud here. :2 cents:

Not just US. I've been posting new (obvious) international upcoming (financial) law changes worldwide and ACTA updates for a while, but without naked pics, nobody reads them I guess.

Check this long read with several linked urls:

Governments with outdated laws are now finally catching up because they need money & taxes after buying out banks and even working together internationally with many countries and exchange (financial) info, have tax-treaties, etc. The enemy of my enemy is my friend...

so epass need to move to another bank, and send us new credit cards..

This stupid epassporte or VISA causes I might start starving :) It takes at least a week to receive check from US and another three weeks to be paid from bank then, I have some food for tomorrow but that is all, so it would be nice if they solved it until then. I wish I were fat, then I would just lost few pounds and I would be even happy about it :) I hope I won't have to borrow money from friends because some idiot did something wrong.. :/

Perhaps first of all they need to get the money back from SKNA. I don't know why exactly the bank accounts were frozen (are they being investigated? does this situation has a relation with TCI? and so on..) Do you?

I know English isn't your first language. Now - thanks to this incomprehensible gibberish - it isn't my first language, either! Woot!

Let me show you how your "paragraph" looks to me, courtesy of the new garce translate service:

Dog fart parallax blue jeans "spam" Russian hurt locker ignore my breathtaking schemes who are spellbound to shoes talking about luncheon meat in the shadows that think of a spot on the wall where flies dwell on golfball waffle Davey Crockett fans ( meat links sausage in their kitchens, etc.). I tried to think but my mind has been lightened by the rapid evaporation of brain cells due to constantly reading gibberish on this internet business website called GFY.

Agreed, he is a total motherfucker (in a straight meaning of this term). However he just quoted VISA but nothing more.

I'm typically not the paycheck-to-paycheck kinda guy but I went on vacation to Hawaii the last week of Aug with the girlfriend.

Spent a bit more then expected, thinking it was okay since I was checking my stats and already earned enough to cover my rent/bills for this month.

I was able to get 2 out of 3 sponsors to send wires instead of epass, but one had paid me epass on sept 1st already and they won't re-send it.

So, now i'm just $100 short on rent with $250 sitting in epass, and now my apartment complex will charge a $100 late fee.

Its one thing when we're just talking about convenience, its another when this shit starts costing me money!!!! Not to mention the first ever late payment on what was a perfect rental history.

epass successful withdrawal to US bank

Following the crisis last week I withdrew $600 from wallet to US bank, and it came through today. Very nice. I am awaiting another withdrawal for about $100 +, should know tomorrow. This should give folks a little hope, but I am deeply disturbed epass is giving no information to it's customers.

nikki99 09-07-2010 03:49 PM

OMG almost 43 pages, where is ma money?

nikki99 09-07-2010 03:51 PM
