The Nazis were a party. The National Socialist Party to be exact. Far from Socialist as you can get but not far off Nationalist. Many things can turn a person into a scammer, and being poor, having a difficult life, are surely some of the major ones. There's a high majority of such people in Russia; that's true. But just because you had a few Russian scammers doesn't mean they all think that way...

Russians are not scammers, they are just very limited in the type of business they can do there, as there is no paypal, no credit card processing, no paypal processing, bureaucracy and taxes are 10 times worse than USA for creating a startup company with bank accounts for the company as are the availability of startup funds considering how little they earn vs the startup costs (e.g. photo cameras and computers cost 3 times more in Russia than in USA). They're cool people just like in the USA, just forced into using non-corporate ways to get by and earn a living.

About Mafia - 18 years ago doing business in Russia was illegal and got you to jail, everything was 100% owned by state. When capitalism came _everyone_ who went into business was called Mafiya.

For russian mentality - they are pessimistic about future, but optimistic about present, and they sometimes have the funniest epiphanies. They also have beautiful mathematical minds and are known as the most patient negotiators in the business world.

I have not yet met a Russian scammer in the over dozen years of internet business. I have done business with many many Russians and Romanians and they have always kept their word and been men of honor. For those who have gotten scammed, there's a saying - You can never scam a honest man.

I've only lived there for 1 month on holiday but the most annoying arguments always started with a Russian saying "why should I suffer?"

If you hang with well educated Russians brought up well, and you earn there trust they will not scam you. They can be more loyal than americans/europeans ect.

I won't apply my understanding of Russians to the adult business since it's completely irrelevant. There are scammers from every part of the world in it.

I lived in Israel for last five years, and even after that I can't say that all Israelis are scams (but yeah, very many of them). Especially in first years, I got scammed many times by people, companies, and especially, the government. So, Russia isn't the worst example. There are much more examples from Nigeria and China. Whole world is a scam.

PS. My father is Russian and I truly never met someone who was more honest.

Curiosly, I lived in Jordan and Syria and never got scammed. Now Egypt, that is a whole other story. Israel, fifty fifty with the boarder guards but that is mainly just grief.

But she is not Russian. Russians come from Russia and Ukranians come from the Ukraine which was occupied by Russia. And if she is Canadian, she has probably been there for a long time and is Canadian through and through. Huge difference here.

Yep, there is no difference between Russia and Ukraine. Actually there was no such a country as Ukraine before the collapse of USSR. In Russian the world "ukraine" meant "outlying districts". For example, in Ivan Grozny times, today's western Moscow outskirts was called Ukraine. So the part of Russia called "ukraine" was constantly moving to West and haven't had it's own strict borders.

As about the ppl who live in Ukraine, so there are 2 different nationalities: Poles (western Ukrainians) and Russians (Eastern Ukrainians). Furthermore, Kiev - the capital of modern Ukraine was a great RUSSIAN capital even BEFORE of Moscow (there wre 2 such a great capitals of ancient Rus: Kiev and Novgorod).

So now the Eastern part of Ukraine is mother of modern Russia (note: Kiev) and the ppl who living there are fathers modern Russians. And the territory of modern Ukraine since the Ekaterina's times was called MALOROSSIA (FYI: "Rossia: is Russia in English).

All the stupid nationalist talks about "occupation" etc are for absolutely silly people who hasn't learn the history. For anyone who want to find out more, I would recommend to read Nikolai Gogol - the greatest Ukrainian writer (one of the most famous ones in both modern Ukraine and Russia) who was witting about Ukraine (MALOROSSIA) in old Tsarist times. Especially I would recommend everyone to read his book "Taras Bulba" about war of Rossians (modern Ukrainians and Russians) against Polish occupants.

Most funny thing, that when the movie "Taras Bulba" was filmed and shown in Ukraine, some brainwashed modern teenagers was almost shocked by the last words of Taras which he said before he was burned by enemies. The (these new teenagers who haven't learn the history) were unable to believe that Nikolai Gogol put these words into the mouth of Taras Bulba. But... when they were suggested to open the ORIGINAL BOOK and read it themselves, they were shocked even more

BTW, there is a small detail... Gogol was witting all his books only in Russian language.

What can I say about such a people? Learn your own history, because nation which doesn't learn its history will never have a future.

I do a lot of public advertising on mainstream boards, and always there is that guy from Russia who comes up and tries to spill shit all over. Trying to find/expose a scam even though he's just passing by. Or plain old trolling threads. I'm seeing less of this on GFY, but it's still here.

I speak several languages, one of which happens to be Russian. And I have couple of Russian channels on the sat, and whenever I turn them on, there's always some kind of depressing shit on there. They have a show called "Miracle Field" where people from really poor villages come to play "guess the word", competing for prizes like microwave ovens and grand-prizes like dishwashers.

Then there's a show that's all about people who lost their someones and are trying to find them. The show basically tells stories of people who got "lost", some nasty shit.

Is there something I'm not getting? Don't mean to be a troll myself and don't want to offend any comrades, this is just the tendency of Russian trolls I've been observing lately.

I'm from Russia and yes, it's a Russian mentality brought along by the serfdom of the 19th century. Russians will always have this mentality.

If you hang with well educated Russians brought up well, and you earn there trust they will not scam you. They can be more loyal than americans/europeans ect. Especially in first years, I got scammed many times by people, companies, and especially, the government. So, Russia isn't the worst example. There are much more examples from Nigeria and China. They're cool people just like in the USA, just forced into using non-corporate ways to get by and earn a living. About Mafia - 18 years ago doing business in Russia was illegal and got you to jail, everything was 100% owned by state. When capitalism came _everyone_ who went into business was called Mafiya.

I have done business with many many Russians and Romanians and they have always kept their word and been men of honor. For those who have gotten scammed, there's a saying - You can never scam a honest man.
